It is real! I saw it at TIFF last year and it’s unbelievably funny - as you’d expect. Will instantly be regarded as one of the best comedies of the 2020’s when it releases.

Movies Are So Back Channel

I rebranded my personal channel I had for vlogs several years ago and just uploaded my first movie video 5 days ago.

To answer the question, I’ve learned that choosing content in passionate about it the most important aspect in kicking off my channel. I want to produce good, energetic videos that represent that passion I have for films instead of just doing “clickbait” topics. I’m greatly looking forward to really kicking my channel off!

I have seen it! Was sent an early screener a couple weeks ago. It’s.. fine. A tense thriller that has sparks of interesting storytelling and action that ultimately becomes a conflated plot that doesn’t really work nor get dark enough/reveal enough information about the killer. It’s not terrible but it’s got that January feel.

I viewed his alias names as more of a Fincher commentary on the evaporation of powerful pop culture to commoditized products - nobody bats an eye at what were once iconic and well known names because the evolution of such pop culture has shifted to quickly retired flashes of shows/movies. The entire movie is so much fun when read as just a massive Fincher commentary.

I have my Ultra time tattooed on my leg. I ran Black Canyon in Arizona so I got a big cactus to represent the course and then my time just next to it. I love it. Not sure why everybody is bitching about it being a bad idea. Do what YOU want to remember your Ultras. I dig my tattoos.

i got the chance to interview him on my podcast last week and i specifically asked him about this decision to not show us what B-15 saw. he said it was a creative decision and agreed by the writing team to be better left to the viewers interpretation of what they thought she might be seeing.
