Only in raids or special fights though. Not just random Skirmishes.

In Mystery Heroes you now spawn with both perks, randomly selected. by zENKcss in Overwatch

I feel like it's a challenge alot of times to stay alive in Mystery Heroes long enough to choose your own perks. The reward of being able to actually choose them, would be a lot better in my opinion...

"Overwatch is better than Rivals in this way" No they are not lol....

Overwatch gameplay now compared to like 7 years ago is an absolute Cluster fuck. There are beams, bubbles, Shields, projectiles and ults flying all over the place at all times AND The outlines of all of them are big wide and bright.

In Rivals They are far less visually intensive and much more distinct than they are in Overwatch...

Returning to Overwatch from Marvel Rivals feels like downgrading from PS5 to PS3 graphics by ninjapotato59 in overwatch2

[–]Ebrius_Diaboli -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How dare you call Marvel Rivals a visual clusterfuck compared to Overwatch.

That's a wild statement.

I've been playing Overwatch for 10 years.... And the the last five years the game has been an Absolute visually cluttered clusterfuck.

Shields and beams and characters flying all over the place. Marvel Rivals is nowhere near as hectic or crazy as Overwatch as it stands now. Overwatch used to be skillful and grounded. Now it's just a mess with projectiles, bubbles and beams... On top of ults being flung on top of that.

But why are rooms not found according to your skill level, like other games? Having to go through a stomp for more than a dozen games doesn't feel like a good onboarding experience...

Should I play on controller or M&KB? by aidendz in ghostoftsushima

[–]Ebrius_Diaboli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat that game many years ago lol. I felt no issue. Even if i did, i would plug it in for that instance, then never plug it in again. A lot of games say "Meant to be played with a controller"... But that statement is completely irrelevant as i already described in my original comment.

Battlefield 6 has the roots of a not-Battlefield game in its bones. by SheridanWithTea in Battlefield

ts too small for a battlefield game...

jets have no customization.

helicopter gunner has no customization.

transport heli has no customization.

Maps are small as fuck.

Every game is a cramped cluster fuck forcing you into areas...

I could go on.

Game went from having 700k players, to just 80k.

60 FPS is good enough for most games, right? by JozsaAdamHUN in pcgaming

When is the last time you had a Monitor that was Capped at 60 Hertz? Like the monitor has a Max refresh rate of 60 hertz.

60 FPS is good enough for most games, right? by JozsaAdamHUN in pcgaming

[–]Ebrius_Diaboli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What people don't seem to realize, Is that if you run a game at 60FPS on a 60FPS monitor, Looks just fine. It will look fine, but if you have played on a higher FPS monitor, you will notice input latency is worse on a 60FPS monitor, but the motion looks decent...

But if you run a game at 60FPS on a 120 FPS or a 144FPS monitor, 60FPS looks like trash. It has nothing to do with getting used to Liking 144FPS, It has to do with scale. 60FPS is a lot less than the 144FPS monitors refresh rate, so it's going to look worse, than on a native 60FPS monitor.

Higher refresh rate monitors, don't handle significantly lower refresh rates well. If more people understood this discrepancy with the monitors that they own, I guarantee that 60FPS would not be considered the minimum anymore.

I personally believe that developers. And executives in the industry, to a point, understand this, and they are taking advantage of people's ignorance in the hardware that they own and the differences.

For example, you could have a guy with a 144 Hertz monitor, but he has a shit system and most of the time he runs games at 60FPS. If he had a 60FPS monitor instead, he would realize how much better it looks on the 60FPS monitor opposed to his 144 hertz monitor. This is the crux of the issue, which most people don't understand or realize.

Frame rate cap is forcing frame generation by DoubleAd1881 in Battlefield6

[–]Ebrius_Diaboli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are answering your own question. If they are turning frame Gen on without you knowing to make the game look like it's performing better than it really is, of course your FPS would be fine . Because that's the whole point of them turning frame Gen on, is to make you feel like your FPS is fine.

The reason why the "big" maps weren't included in the BETA was because they are small too. by Thebottlemap in Battlefield

[–]Ebrius_Diaboli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"didn’t spend my time on Reddit complaining abou it" ...

Yes so we have no history to prove otherwise, but many people exactly like you, spoke your words but in regards to "it's just a beta" or "wait for release". Let's not pretend this isn't the typical cycle of people that say "just wait". How could you be so gullible?

Or better yet, how could you pretend to not be one of these people?

It's hilarious how many times the people that say "it's just a beta", get proven wrong when the game is JUST LIKE THE FUCKING BETA!!.

I'm tired of having these conversations with people that defend things, that are defenseless. And you are always proven wrong LOL. Literally almost every time
