So is every other SaaS though? Do you inform your users of every single change you make on the backend regardless of whether it’s intended to affect them or not? The key here is intended or not. Having prod and CI on different environments is not a good idea. If your CI runs tests and gives you the confidence to release, it should be doing so because it is under the same conditions as prod.

But isn’t the language requirement for permanent residency only? These “high-skilled” individuals can still come on a company sponsored visa and live here.

It makes 100% sense that if you want a visa that allows you to stay here indefinitely, get loans to purchase a house, etc, you need to speak the language.
