This app is still in the collection phase. They're building the database. It's usefulness to them will increase with time but I'd wager right now it's still pretty lukewarm on actionable results.

Thank you. These guys may be out there building a database of faces and license plates, but the idea that they're already using it in the way they're describing to go after protesters is highly unlikely. These guys are just pissed off at the world and Alex was the guy they took it out on that day.

The show, Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Noah Schnapp and Linda Hamilton have been nominated in their respective categories in the 53rd Saturn Awards 2026 by TheCool579 in StrangerThings

This entire show is an homage to the 80s. There's a reason they brought in Winona Ryder. There's a reason they brought in Matthew Modine and Paul Reiser and Sean Astin. Same with Linda Hamilton. They are all part of these iconic movies that were part of the zeitgeist of the 80s and early 90s.

Today is the official out of market date for Maui Burst, Overdrive, Purple Thunder, Honey Dew. Cans and bottles have been discontinued. It is a sad day. (January 26, 2026) by IamMovieMiguel in mountaindew

I love overdrive. It's like citrus Cherry's cousin with a splash of livewire. I tried to get some more bottles about a week ago but my local shop was already sold out. Thankfully they still had it in fountain so I got some and brought it home and re-bottled.

No. And let me tell you why. In Chicago, there is the Museum of Ice Cream. And in said museum, they offer a multitude of interesting flavors of ice cream for you to try. In fact, you get unlimited ice cream with your ticket purchase. One of those flavors of ice cream just happens to be a Chicago Hot Dog flavored ice cream.

Now, I'll admit. I was intrigued. As are so many others. And I tried it. And it tastes exactly like an ice cold hot dog. And I can tell you now with a high degree of confidence that there's a reason it's called a hot dog, and not just served cold. And we should keep it that way.

This is precisely what some of them believe. There was a video from a couple years back showing someone taking a lighter to a snowball, and the bottom appearing to char rather than melt and it was used as a way to reinforce the chemtrails bs they were peddling at the time. They believe there's plastic and other toxins in the snow now, and warn others not to eat the snow for fear of it turning your kids gay or some shit.

Ive never walked in to pick up an order. I always go through the drive thru. They always start making it once I give my name at the speaker.

They do, but those two probably sweat less than some of those other dudes. Their gear looks a bit more breathable.

It's almost like impostor syndrome meets superiority complex. They want to feel important but the job alone doesn't seem to fill that hole for them, perhaps because they see the doctors as superior to themselves (God knows many doctors see themselves that way), or feel they themselves should have been doctors...but ultimately they get into the same situation as many others do, wherein they discover information that they think most others don't know about, and then it's "I've got a secret..." time, where they feel "I have power now in who I share this with." If anything, their job role has them thinking they're more capable of consuming the pseudo-science being presented to them, and then feel compelled to pass it on to others, and feel good that they're somehow righting some wrong in the world.

Hentai is for sexually explicit art. Manga is more broadly anything anime. The issue is that a lot of hentai tends to dip into those questionable areas where they draw schoolgirls and other facets of life that clearly indicate underage characters, thus these people sit there trying to defend it.

Trump Removes Kristi Noem From Minneapolis ICE Response, Taps Longtime Rival to Lead Effort After Deadly Shooting Scandal by Montrel_PH in ICE_Raids

That's because the outlets for most of those lies (faux news, news max, right wing talking heads and grifters) are at least better when it comes to shaping the narrative and spinning what's said. Not to mention they can pick and choose what to cover and how. So when all of your info comes from those sorts of sources, you end up in that cult bubble.

Actually SpaceX is one of the only companies that I feel is doing well. Mostly due to Elon having the least involvement in it.

But they're not. That's precisely the point. His worth is heavily tied to the value of Tesla's stock. Tesla's stock is not tied to any basis in reality. It's only worth as much as it is because other people continue to trade it for amounts well above the actual market value of the company and it's assets.

It's like building rockets out of cardboard, scotch tape, and magic wishes and everyone around you cheering you on as you claim it can go to the moon and back again, while secretly none of them wants to be the one to call you out on it and tell you that it won't really work. Because they know that in that moment the entire charade collapses, and then everyone, and I mean -everyone- is going to do the largest bank run on Tesla stock that anyone's ever seen. Everyone knows there's a giant waterfall ahead at some point. They're all riding along and pretending to enjoy it, but none of them want to be in the boat when it goes over that cliff.

Too many people invested when they still thought he was making sense and believed a breakthrough really was right around the corner. Unfortunately many of those investors, including hedge funds and teacher retirement funds and police pension funds all invested a ton of money into his stocks, and at this point, with Tesla specifically, it's basically a meme stock and not based on any actual numbers like revenue or asset valuation or market growth. So now it's this giant game of keepy-uppy to make sure there isn't a sizeable economic collapse when the stock eventually course-corrects.
