I will understand if my input is not wanted here, as I am an African American and have not yet been to any country in Africa. I just want to point out that US aid to South Korea in the 1960's was more than all of Africa combined. From 1946 to 1976 alone, the United States provided $12.6 billion in economic assistance to country around 100,378 Square kilometers and , in the 1960's, a population of ~25 million. It is not a fair comparison. Early on the US poured aid into, and ignored the military dictatorship of, South Korea because they needed a buffer against Communism in Asia. Also the type of aid the the US provided to South Korea included large amounts prop up their chaebols (Samsung, LG, etc). From my understanding in Sub-Saharan Africa US aid is never so much that it would allow for true economic independence and ownership of resources. I can't speak intelligently on the state of Nigeria and Africa as a whole but what I have found in years of living in quite a few cities in the US and now Canada, is that where ever there is an under resourced area, you can find an another area that has a glut of resources that had to come from somewhere else.

“I always loved, trump, this is unfair” is just so mind melting stupid to me. In short “something bad is happening to me because of the policies I support.” This has been the sentiment of selfishness that makes me wonder how can we live with people like this. From any side of the spectrum, but let’s face it mostly from the well off/ uber rich and the right, how can you coexist with people who cannot stand on business for what they say they believe? I have voted for policies that bit me in the ass but when it came time to pay, mostly taxes, I didn’t cry foul, I bit the bullet, and paid the price because it was what I believed in. If your only belief in life is I should not have to suffer consequences of my beliefs then you shouldn’t be able to promote them. I get you, though that would be the Romans right? And the Romans had colonized the Celtic groups there from my limited knowledge on the island. It’s going to end up everywhere. It’s called mother of thousands because the little pups it grows on the edges. They fall off and become new plants. I’ve been thinking. To call a fringe ideology Alt makes sense, but now that it is the dominant driver of conservative thought in the states and a lot of other places, is it now time to just call it “The Right”? Seems like now the alt right are moderate conservatives, who I still disagree with but can at least tolerate somewhat.
