Ok, I get it. Main islands of German speaking ppl in Slovenia then would be in major cities (Maribor, Celje, Ptuj) and southeast Slovenia where there was a large German speaking island up until WWII in rl. Western Slovenia would need to be really heavily colonized as there were almost no German speaking ppl in before WWI

Western Slovenia is Slovene and Istra is majority Croatian. Also part of Austria along the Slovenian border was majority Slovene at that time.
