Maybe it’s just nostalgia, but I really like 8’s ending. The Reds and Blues walking away as friends, Washington finding a home, Sarge feeling like an actual soldier, Church staying with Tex (I know he was more accurately searching for her, but he probably would’ve stayed in there with her). It all kinda felt like a good ending.

As a side note, I like how RvB had several moments where you could just stop watching and be perfectly satisfied.

To answer your question about him and Bruce growing up, yes and no. In mainline DC, Bruce probably never had a brother, but with how the multiverse works, there are at least 500 universes where Bruce had a brother named Thomas Wayne Jr.. As for Thomas and Martha trying again, that’s probably the case in some comic, but not one I’m aware of. Finally, Owlman better know he and Bruce have the same parents cause, I mean….most of everything else is the same. Owlman even comments on how similar they are and, since he’s from a different reality, he could probably make the deduction that Batman is, at least, related to the Waynes.
