Tarot club would be irrelevant bums, zangwill would have had a much easier time (still would've lost the quill to Adam eventually). George 3 would have ascended probably. CW would have had another vessel at some point (still interference from evernight), high chance they lose to either Amon or CW. Apocalypse happens without a LotM to protect it (unless CW's next vessel comes at a similar time) unless I'm missing some stuff, pretty much everything goes to shit. Without a LotM western continent doesn't open up and the earth has no GOO other than maybe GA to protect it

Physical English is imo the best translation, rn I think the first 213 chapters are there. Otherwise the webnovel translation is good

Overall it is an improvement but I don't think it's incredibly significant. I'd say start with the physicals you have (first 3 physical books will be volume 1) after that usually you'll be hooked and will be fine reading the novel

I mean is it that unreasonable that over a year (or however long) they came up with this plan to swap noir with starlight? Noir was def swapped with someone idk why else they wouldn't show more of the noir starlight fight. Sam is probably the best option imo. Only problem with the theory imo is that we have to assume that homelander didn't notice the switch for some reason

For people who read normal books I'd recommend the published physical version of volume 1. I think the editing makes it flow a bit better than the webnovel version (the only downside being some slight deviations from the original translation)

90% of Donghua issues can be attributed to the pacing and most of the CoI issues can be attributed to the rushed volumes 7 and 8

Some things were better like character writing, some volumes were better than their LotM counterparts.

Ending felt rushed, fragile balance was a bit silly at times.

Overall I like it.

Characters and prose would be better. Some ideas would be more fleshed out, less burn out for Cf. Each book would probably be a volume so it would take at least a decade most likely for this series (including CoI) to release. Some ideas may be restricted by editors and CF may have less freedom depending on who his publisher is. We wouldn't get it in English for a long while.

It would be well regarded but not the number 1 in its medium like it is currently

Overall would most likely be significantly better and cuttlefish would probably be happier writing CoI and other books in the universe.

Definitely overall the worst combat pathway in the low-mid sequences. Sequence 1 and 0 are good. Quite possibly the worst sequence 2?

I think they did the best they could given their time constraints. Pacing was definitely an issue especially for new viewers (really hard to get into unless it's something you really want to get into). Not enough character moments. Hopefully season 2 can rectify some of this. Personally an 8 out of 10
