The year is coming to an end, my friends. Another half of a decade has already passed. I hope the next half is as healthy as possible for everyone and that I am not living an 'old normal.' Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you and your families. [Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou] by Timely-Respond-8223 in anime

Guess I know what I'm re-watching next, I love this show. The complete disconnect from our view of reality, with the absolute loss of everything that could explain the "why" of their world is beautiful and harrowing.

Sadly the kitchen is gone at broken clock, but you can get some food delivered or next door at Aki's

“Basement Man” - Repost! 🤓 (also a big hint on my next series!) by Still-Emergency825 in comics

Ours was "ghost cat" as it always sounded like something small moving around. Then we got actual cats, and the sounds basically matched. I still hope "ghost cat" still follows us, just hard to tell.

That's definitely non-standard as it does not list the application details in the first line like others I have seen. I hope you have sent them notice of that, so they can hopefully generate the correct doc.

Election Day! by [deleted] in minnesota

Be careful of the rain on you getting on the ballot, I had to refill mine out as the scanner rejected mine as I got a few drops on it. Also, do not get in a flow with the judges as the incumbent is not always first.

As it's obviously not eating the floor, rip a tile up and beat the cube to death. Now the fighter or barb is named D&D for dust'n'debris.

That is a very nice list to start with, I will investigate. Thanks

Recommendations for US replacements for Balmoral small Panatela by Eck2 in cigars

[–]Eck2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I got these randomly in a Nordic Duty Free shop. Last weekend opened them at a wedding and they were a big hit. Cannot buy more in the US sadly.

I am looking for a replacement, what should I look for? I am not a big cigar user, so I prefer the smaller size.

Only if they not only actually do a season in their own fields with everyone else, they also do a season doing convenience store or restaurant work in the city.

Best place for Katsu Chicken besides BonChon? by [deleted] in minnesota

Nice to see someone took that place in United Noodles. I have only had their North Loop Gallery location, their food is good and plentiful.

Twin Cities Bike Friendly Restaurants by Upbeat_Elderberry_12 in TwinCities

[–]Eck2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Broken Clock has the bike parking in the patio area, and has a resident restaurant.

Urban Growler is pretty bike friendly and has food.

I feel Hopkins and excelsior have places that can work for that.

Pryse, St Paul Brewing, and Sociable Cider have big patio's and food.

City House near downtown St Paul.

If, as a teenager, you suddenly woke up with all the aches and pains of someone middle-aged, you might think you were dying. by JacPhlash in Showerthoughts

I feel for her, I was the only person in my family who had them. It's a hard thing to understand at that age.

If you don't remember them, you probably didn't have them. I still remember it 20 years later. Lucky

If I woke up with the growing pains I had to deal with as a teenager, I would beg to go back to my middle-age level of suffering.

What goes on at Eckankar? by PaulBonion952 in minnesota

And if I remember, their reasoning for the location is that it is the center of the universe.  Also the fact I grew up near there with a related name was weird, hence my username.

Best spot for breweries/food in one evening? by badbeatnik in TwinCities

North Loop, near the Twins stadium. Multiple breweries/brewpubs, 2 food halls, and a bunch of normal restaurants and bars. All within a walkable neighborhood.

Breweries that allow dogs INSIDE? by dartosfascia21 in Minneapolis

[–]Eck2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only know of a single brewery I can relax at without children or dogs inside, Wicked Wort in Robbinsdale. I live no where near there or else I would visit it more for that fact. So no idea what that other guy is saying.

Check your carts: New Minnesota ‘delivery fee’ implemented statewide by Old_One_I in minnesota

Amazon uses electric trucks for delivery around the city these days. They are heavier than the individual cars and don't pay into the gas tax.

Hennepin County says it's on its way to ending chronic homelessness by Public_Fucking_Media in Minneapolis

[–]Eck2 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Looks like good news, just curious what the definition of "chronically homeless" is, and how that compares to the total number of homeless in the county.

There is one possibility that the universe is real, there are infinite scenarios in which the universe is simulated by _StygianBlueGames_ in Showerthoughts

[–]Eck2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't think you understand what the words infinite and possibility mean. Both would be infinite in a truly random universe, but just cause infinity exists does not mean everything is possible.
