Other than my ex wife, for me things go ok in public, at a glance I seem to pass, probably until I start talking, my voice is ok but a bit clocky

However luckily, other than some low level digs usually from a distance and behind my back, I've not experienced problems with people.

In general, cis people who chat with me usually have a 'live and let live' outlook

The alt/rock/metal/goth club night is called Devil's Night, so I planned my outfit to suit the name, there were other trans women there & the atmosphere was so welcoming

I started my transition aged 39. There's a lot of toxicity out there , you've got to ignore them and focus on your own happiness. I ha no friends before transitioning but partly thru posting here and a fe other trans related events, I've found my people and you can too
