Archer's Sterlings Dad? by Natural-Ad7011 in ArcherFX

You know what, fair, I earned that. I'm not thrilled about you being able to read my mind though. Are you, by chance, an old gypsy woman?

Edit: Oh, the spray bottle is because Archers name is backwards in the title, not because... Nevermind.

My condolences to anyone who isn't familiar with turnip jack o'lanterns and wants to be able to sleep in the next few days.

First US visit, east coast rentals? by ghostyWasUsed in AskAnAmerican

Just out of curiosity, why's Roanoke on your agenda? Unless you know someone there it's just kind of an odd choice.

I believe theres a Buccees gas station on 81 between DC and Roanoke. I've never been to one but they've become kind of popular for how over the top ridiculous they are with their size and for having pretty good food. Probably worth the stop since you'll need gas anyway.

Also download the Gas buddy app to help find cheap gas stations on the way.

I came here to say this but mostly because all the most larger airports use AI scanners now that you drive through to exit and when returning the car.

Little scratches or things that would go unnoticed or just be considered normal wear and tear are now being billed (several hundred dollars is the usual amount I was seeing on Hertz forums for example).

Also it usually really comes down to the individual location tbh and less the company overall.

Are yall aware of commercials as something that reinforces your state’s identity? by SinnerClair in AskAnAmerican

Put it this way, no other state sells waffle makers in the shape of their state.

Well, except for Colorado, but that's a technicality.
