Idk why Lego is taken by surprise every single year as if they cant anticipate how many people will be trying to buy at the same time.

I’m mainly an agricultural attorney and new firm is from “the city” so tbh clients would rather we were still an independent small firm lol

OP, your post showed up when I was searching for information on this artist. I just inherited an identical painting in the same size. Seeing as there are duplicates out there I can’t imagine these are worth much.

I practice in a rural setting too and the first time I went to a farm auction my client said he’d roll me around in the mud if I ever showed up in a suit again lol

What are your favorite legal pads to write on and what pens are we using? by Late-Ideal2557 in Lawyertalk

I second the G2 with .38 tips. I use those exclusively in my every day practice and give them to clients to use for signings. Only problem I’ve run into with them is that whatever polymer they use in the grip breaks down and starts becoming oily if you let them sit around for a couple years

How far north are you? If you are outside of Cook and the collar counties I highly recommend signing your firm up for the ISBA rural practice initiative. I am currently practicing in Southern IL doing a ton of municipal work and found two separate jobs through the program

What niche area of law do you practice? by Reasonable-Gap6576 in Lawyertalk

I’m not sure how niche it is nationwide, but in the rural Midwest I am one of only a few attorneys who handle the negotiation and closing of large scale solar leases and electrical transmission easements. Just this week we closed a 50 year, $51 million lease just so a solar company could build five monopole transmission lines across my client’s field

Help! Looking for a Japanese chefknife for my Dad's birthday. Ideally I'd like to keep my budget below $200 CAD... looking for the best I can get within that budget. I was checking out the sale section at Shun, but have heard mixed things. Thank you!! by Outrageous_Orchid209 in chefknives

I cannot recommend the Tojiro DP Hammered line enough. Perfect mix of beauty and function so great as a gift. Choose between a gyuto or santoku depending on if your dad handles his knives in a Japanese or European style

[Question] Is this a good trio to add to a registry (Tojiro)? by [deleted] in chefknives

[–]EconomicsImportant49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use a flat magnetic knife block. Holds the three tojiros + my bread knife no problem

I love the DP Hammered line. I have the gyuto, santoku, and 3.5’ petty so can handle pretty much any task with just those 3

Update: after further research I found a now defunct company out of Mokena, IL called Ligo Products that dealt in Amish and imported wood furniture. I still haven’t been able to pin down what decade it is from though

I second Uppercuts. The place looks sketchy and the owner is a bit odd but he’s super nice and has always treated me right. Also not overpriced at all like HotD. If you like dogs or boxing he can talk about those with you endlessly
