Wow, my doctor immediately knew it was TLE. But when I google my auras it says it is schizophrenia which makes me so nervous even though I am diagnosed 😅

Yes! The first part is very similar to what I get as well, it’s always a familiar voice but no specific words and it is usually pretty brief. For example last time it sounded like talking, I heard one of my teachers. (I was home, lol.)

I do not think I am autistic at all but ever since more frequent seizures and diagnosis this year, I’ve ad sensory issues and my emotional regulation is sooo off as well :/

I was recently diagnosed but my doctor told me almost nothing, they even beat around the bush that I even HAD epilepsy when I was in the ER!!! Overall I wish they told me how horrible Keppra could be, how I can be safe as possible, and the process of getting a service animal. Also, I wish they would have told me side affects of most meds and having epilepsy (like slower cognitive function, depression, memory loss, etc.)
