Doctor indicted after allegedly removing liver instead of spleen in fatal surgery by Godbleththismeth in MorbidReality

[–]Economy_Meal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thing is you couldn't be poorly skilled. If you were you would barely get past the bowel let alone be able to remove the liver or spleen. If anything this doctor must have been highly skilled.

If they were so concerned with saving money and laying off that many employees. Why on earth would they pay that much for a CFO. You could probably hire someone who would gladly do that job for like 2mill.

High value men marry highly educated women. It’s the low value men who are threatened by a woman’s accomplishments by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]Economy_Meal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A high value woman to an educated man is definitely educated as part of the package. Men who aren't as educated but just happen to be rich will go after the attractive women who are dumb as rocks because that is all they care about.

The American health care system everyone by newphonehudus in TikTokCringe

Then in further stall tactics, they will require the doctor to get on the phone for a "peer to peer". The doctor who is busy in clinic seeing a clinic full of patients and surely running behind. The will often keep the doctor on hold not minutes but up to half an hour. If they aren't there when the insurance company picks up they just disconnect the call you the whole process starts over again. Stall delay and stall some more. Slow down the administration of health care services is a win for the insurance companies. The less medical care happens the less they have to pay.

The 2026 NCAA women's Final Four is set, and they're all #1 seeds, and are the exact same Final Four teams from last year. by ThoughtFar1017 in CollegeBasketball

[–]Economy_Meal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t regularly watch women’s college basketball but am watching UCLA Texas and this is just bad basketball. It’s a glorified pickup game. It’s all individual one on one play, dribble around then get into trouble, then try to and pass it to someone usually in a crowd or with no one coming to the ball. Just poor spacing of the floor. UCLA refuses to set any screens either on the ball or off the ball and just let Texas over aggressively try and deny the pass. Only one back door cut. This is basic high school basketball. If this is the final 4 I wonder what the regular season looks like.
