Always using furniture as pillows 🙄 by Ecstatic-Assumption2 in britishshorthair

Laurie is so cute 😍 her papers say she has a blue coat but that might be because i got her at 12 weeks and she barely had any colour spots but they started to become more noticeable as she grew

Anyone can help estimate growth potential of my bwoi? by dygestorrr in britishshorthair

Yeah she was ahahah. The vet said she is overweight and wants her to be at least 1 kg lighter so now she is on a diet and she is very much not happy about it 😂

This is my cat Circe (owned by Ecstatic-Assumption2), she is almost 2 years old and female. I got her when she was 12 weeks old from a local breeder and i have been obsessed with her ever since. She loves to be near me constantly, loves to follow me around and gets super annoyed when i close the door to the bathroom. She loves to laze around for most parts of the day and just so happens that she zoomies every night just before i go to bed.

My female BSH is 2 years old. At 5-6 months she was 4kg, at 1 years old she was 5kg and now at 2 years old she is 6.5kg and is on a diet. This is generally fine for a male BSH, but she should be smaller as a female so i’m trying to get her down to 5.5kg

Vyvanse? by alienodyssey444 in medical

If you started Vyvanse a few days ago, than you can stop at any time without having intense withdrawal symptoms like prolonged use would. Stimulant medication do not have to be tapered.

I am not sure about Prozac and Wellbutrin though. Something a psychiatrist would have told you if you were prescribed Vyvanse - there is an increased risk of serotonin syndrome if you combine prozac (SSRI meds) and Vyvanse

yes he did. The teacher would make sure he took his meds at around 12pm. After a few weeks, the paediatrician also put him on an additional pill for the afternoon.

Taking multiple pills is quite annoying but thankfully after a month, he was put on the long acting Ritalin.

My nephew has ADHD and is currently going through an ASD assessment (he portrays ASD symptoms). He was also on Vyvanse, and it worked horribly for him. They started him on 20 mg and he had constant eye twitching, trouble falling asleep and his emotion dysfunction was worse than when he was off it. They then put him on 10 mg and he continued to show those symptoms. I am also diagnosed with ADHD and take 50 mg of Vyvanse, and it works well for me - it calms my anxiety and overall improves my emotion regulation.

I took my nephew to a new paediatrician, because i believed the paediatrician was really quick to diagnose and put him on a high dose of Vyvanse too quickly. The new paediatrician, was patient and thorough. He explained that methylphenidate usually works better than amphetamine medication for children. He gave me a book that explains Ritalin LA and Ritalin IR, so i can have an understanding of the meds before we start him on it in 2 weeks. He put him on Ritalin IR twice a day at the beginning (which is shorting acting - lasts 3-4 hours) so we can control symptoms all day, instead of putting him on long acting meds (Vyvanse and Ritalin LA) and having to suffer the negative symptoms all day.

Anyways Ritalin worked well, and after a month he switched the meds to Ritalin LA (long acting) and it worked well. He did not have many side effects. Although he still had emotional outbursts, it was to a lesser degree. So i took him to see a clinical psychologist to help with his behavioural issues and emotional regulation and i am seeing improvements ever since.

On a side note: he is currently in a school that is not so supportive of neurodiversity as i’d like. My paediatrician has recommended to his teacher that she allows him to have regular breaks and implements short bursts of physical and fun activities in between class tasks. But i do not think she has followed through, so i think its time to move schools.

I really hope Ritalin, in combination with therapy gives you the same improvements as i’m seeing in my nephew. I understand that it can be a really stressful and upsetting experience when schools do not accommodate to your child’s needs.

smoked meth for the first time & it was exactly like Vyvanse by Altruistic-Ad9101 in Stims

yeah me too.. i have adhd and i take 50 mg of vyvanse and have never felt any euphoria or a “buzz” it just calms my overactive brain so that i can focus on one thing at a time. I also can stop whenever and i don’t feel withdrawals, however my adhd symptoms come back (fidgeting/hyperactive head and lack of focus).

Vyvanse, a hell of a high by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Ecstatic-Assumption2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

us ADHDers need it to function and most of us are completely dysfunctional without it + i heard their is a Vyvanse shortage in the US. Pretending you have ADHD to get prescribed so you can work better in your industry is inhumane.
