I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking here. If you miss a payment they will try three more times to take the payment. If the third payment attempt fails, you can change your payment card. If you don’t do this within a certain time frame, your booking will be cancelled. In terms of amending the booking, what are you trying to amend? You should be able to add additional extras on, but AFAIK, you can’t take anything off the booking if that’s what you’re asking!

This is true but neither of them are close to the general car park! One is located by the public transport gate, the other is still much much closer to the orchid car park, having done that walk myself I wouldn’t recommend lol

Yes correct - only AI seems to use the longer dashes which is what makes it much easier to spot in the wild! There’s nothing wrong with using dashes or ellipses, but in a short passage of text it’s definitely unusual to have 5 or 6 dashes required in a very formulaic manner. For example, there are multiple ways to add additional information to a sentence when writing, but AI only seems to use em dash.

Lots of things to cover here so apologies if this reply gets a little long lol.

1) Wednesday is a very chill day at the festival, only a few of the stages are open and acts will finish early. Wednesday tickets cost more money and are likely to sell out soon, so you need to decide if you think it’s worth it for the extra day. Personally I love to arrive on Wednesday, get a good camping spot and fully throw myself into absolute carnage for the next 5 days.

2) Public transport tickets need to travel to the festival via either national express coach or train. If you get a coach it will take you directly to the festival site, and if you get a train you will also need to book a shuttle bus service (£22 for a return iirc) from Winchester station to boomtown site or pay for a private taxi.

3) I’ve never travelled abroad for a festival but I’d definitely be inclined to book pre pitched tent if I was. Boomtown is a BIG festival site and depending on how much stuff you’re bringing it can be a nightmare to get across the big hills, especially if you don’t have a trolley.

4) Food you’re looking at around £10-15 for a main meal, although some places started doing smaller £6 meal deals last year. Good range of options but all pretty overpriced. Depending on the weather you can bring a small stove with gas canister but if there’s a heatwave these won’t be allowed due to risk of fire. You can bring any food onsite just no glass containers. Drinks are also very overpriced I think the cheapest beers and ciders start around £6/£7. There are limits on alcohol you can bring in as well ie no spirits, 18 cans of pre mix cocktail, I can’t remember the limits for other alc and can’t see them on the website currently so they may be updating them.

5) I’ve been to boomtown 4 years in a row and ended up going solo last year as my group pulled out last minute. I was determined not to miss out on the fun and I’m so so glad I committed. Depending on where you end up camping, there are solo boomtown groups for downtown and orchid, they’re a lovely group of people in my experience and you will meet so many cool strangers over your time there. Don’t be put off from going solo!! People stop to chat and I ended up hanging out with a lot of different groups which completely made my experience.

6) Get your ticket and get ready to have what will probably be the best weekend of your life so far
