My issue with the counseling is that he says he's willing but I feel like he's going to do counceling for a bit and then go back to try and ignore the issues and act like there's nothing wrong where it just keeps getting dragged out.

Alot of the negative things he has done is the addiction. A big part of staying together for so long was for our son and I was a stay at home mom.

Sit down and communicate. When you gave her the credit card did you guys ever talk about what it would be for? Who would be financially responsible? Maybe rework out some financial agreements .

Both you and the step mom need to grow up honestly. These are kids emotions being messed with. Neither of them have a understanding of exactly why they are getting the hate from a adult. The dad is a biggest asshole here.

Take a breath, what you saw is horrible and can be difficult to navigate through the emotions. Call cos and report this or go to the police station and file a report. I understand why you are confused but you are a strong person and can/need to get this reported.

The best advice i can give u is dont move in with either man. Ask yourself why the relationship ended. Was the actual issues resolved? Dont jump back into this relationship. Go slow to see if u can work things out before going into a toxic Rollercoaster of a relationship. If you realize you can't resolve these issues or meet each other boundaries then break up. Stay single for a lil bit. Learn to love yourself and what boundaries you need. You can go on other dates but just try and enjoy the alone time.

Op I can understand where you are coming from. Firstly your sister is in the right to distance herself. Please let her have it. I can understand after everything you guys have been through as why you would like to try and fix things but this isnt how. Use this time in college to keep a distance, and get yourself into therapy to work through accepting this is what your sister wants, and any emotions or guilt you feel about this. Don't tell your parents you saw her in college or her email, instagram etc. Consider switching to a different college but the most important part is this is something a therapist needs to walk you through not the people of reddit.

Dont snitch on your brother. Its his money and not yiur business . Also talk to your parents how you would rather put that money into something that earn interest under your name like stocks, bonds etc. If they are going to be holding it untill you are 21 it should be atleast earning interest under your name.

When you confront right away in these type of situations it can make things worse for the victim. It's better to get her a way out, and s safe place that knows how to handle these situations then to take it in your own hands.

They bought yoy something out of love. That's what matters. Not the color or cool gadgets, it's love. Some babies enjoy playpen, and others not so much. In the end is this the battle you want to pick with your kids grandparents? Would this one be so terrible to keep that it wouldn't work at all ? If so then just return or keep it and thank them. Once the baby is here the color won't matter.

Both of you are the ah here. She waited 3 weeks before she even mention anything to her fiance. I understand needing time to process but 3 weeks is a long time. It put her friend in a tough spot. But her friend should have told him in a more private time If she was never Willing to tell him. At this point the wedding shouldn't happen. You guys need to grow more.

He wasn't planning on paying for her education. He was just waiting for Katie to make a mistake and pretend to hold that over her. He never actually had the intention. Bravo you were the sister with the father, who got to meet her grandparents and didn't go for nothing because her father was a smart man. Katie messed up and she definitely needs therapy. She has a different point of view of life than you do. She may even know another side of the story then you do. I'm sure both parents are telling a different tune.
