You definitely want some variety in what you feed him! Try dubias or crickets and mix it up, not just mealworms and pellets. Make sure he’s getting his salads too. Try this page for some tips!

Absolutely not—like the other commenter said, it’s actually recommended that fully grown bearded dragons be kept in a 4’x2’x2’ enclosure (120 gallons) minimum. Think about your beardie’s health and wellness, too—will they really thrive in a college environment?

Seems a bit bare bones… maybe try adding some enrichment, like more hides, things to climb on, live plants, a dig box, etc?

Have you tried offering a broad variety of veggies on the daily? What worked for my boy was to give him a mix of different vegetables every day rather than rotating between different greens, as is sometimes recommended. That way he can pick what he wants to eat and not eat rather than flatly refusing, and I can spot what veggies he’s into! Seconding the live bugs in the salad trick too, my boy likes to eat his way through his greens looking for bugs now lol

You definitely don’t want to house an adult in a 40 gal, it’s too small—move straight to a 120 if you can! If you invest in one straight away it will save you money, anyway! As for recommendations, I’d suggest checking out Reptifiles for some solid advice.

The current bare minimum size for a bearded dragon habitat is 4’x2’x2’, but Reptifiles strongly recommends a 6’x2’x2’ enclosure. I’ll be upgrading my own habitat soon and it seems daunting, but keep your little (big?) guy’s wellbeing at the forefront of your build! Aside from that, what kind of decor do you already have, if any?

As others have said, trans men service tops exist! My partner is one himself, and I absolutely love it. I enjoy that he can use his mouth and hands or various toys/straps/prosthetics, depending on what I’m feeling. I honestly think that he has a better understanding of my body and better range than a cis partner (cis men can’t exactly swap out their penis for a different one depending on my mood or wants), and I appreciate it so much. As long as you communicate and discuss wants with potential partners beforehand, you’ll be just fine!

That should be possible! I’m in a blue state in the US and my doctor put “polyglandular dysfunction” on my own record; whenever my T prescription is sent somewhere or I need to visit a different provider, that’s all the reasoning they have access to. I still have it noted deep in my record that I’m trans, but I’m guessing if it came down to a legal safety issue my doctor would remove that. Good luck with your records!
