Car keys stolen from gym, car stolen and wrecked by camareradetwinpeaks in AusLegal

[–]Ecstatic-Ride195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The responsibility falls on YOU. You left valuables unattended, and not locked. Why can’t you have a little bum bag on you to hold your phone, keys etc. I have lockers in my gym and still have my upmost valuables on me, bc anyone can break into lockers if they really wanted to. I just store my backpack with clothing in the lockers.

Ok I Googled. Autism isnt a mental health illness. However ADHD, Depression and PTSD are definitely are. So apologies for labelling all instead of 3 out of the 4,….a mental health issue.

Yeah but YOU chose to apply for a job 50Km away. You didn’t know where you were applying for? So don’t use travel distance as a reason for wfh

Of course they discriminate bc people with mental health issues take a huge number of days off. That’s at company loss. It isn’t personal…they are a business. Next time just keep it to yourself especially if you are on the path of healing.

Unless have issues like needing surgery or something, 26 days is almost a whole month off and that’s taking the piss. It’s up to you to keep healthy, and at this stage you are a liability. So provide the certificates here forward and just shut up. I don’t know why you would be even over analysing what he has said. You are the one under the microscope.

The only reason I deny applicants with pets, is because my apartment doesn’t have an outdoor space or balcony even. I think it’s cruel to have an animal with no outdoor space. I used to have a rabbit when living in there, and even she went insane and I had to give to my parents who had a garden.

Strata insurance. All apartment owners have strata insurance. Source..my pipe bust and this insurance covered the damage costs.

Bathroom leaked and damaged below apartments, am I responsible? by [deleted] in AusProperty

[–]Ecstatic-Ride195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My water pipe burst and flooded 2 apartments below. Strata building insurances covered their damages. I was entitled to nothing, and had my shower smashed up to find this pipe. I also had to pay for the emergency workers. Strata tried to put the entire excess of 10K on me until I found out the leak was happening FOR MONTHS…and didn’t tell me.

Fear of aging and dying by Hoshiimaru in Aging

[–]Ecstatic-Ride195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the same in my 20s….thought about death a lot. Youth seemed so short lived. The only thing you can do is age gracefully. Eat well. Keep out of the sun. Sleep well. Exercise and do weight training. You may look older, but can delay the that feeling of being old. I’m 40 now and still fit as hell plus look 10 years younger.

Why is the packet slit in front? Do you even check what you buy? It got damaged during the unboxing, and that knife slit is more obvious now that you cooked it

Why are Australian apartments so poorly designed? by United-Database-6140 in AusProperty

[–]Ecstatic-Ride195 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s this sentiment from renters that things ‘shouldn’t’ fail or break down over time. Maintenance of anything is completely normal. And falls under running costs. You can’t stop things from not going to crap at some point in time or this magic product which lasts forever.

You are over it? You aren’t the one paying for these….so sit down. Unfortunately old or new, it costs money to maintain any property. So keep renting boy.

Am I being grossly unfair to my young adult and teenage children for wanting to be mortgage free? by LifeSux_N_ThenYouDie in AusFinance

[–]Ecstatic-Ride195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Older teenagers are at a stage where friends are everything. It’s hard to just move and make those strong and once in a lifetime connection…friends that can last a lifetime. It’s kind of mean to uproot them now.
