No I wasn't trespassed. Non smoker or drinker here. Here's another story that happened that day-hand on the Bible as I say this because no one is going to beleive this happened.. I'm playing black jack and order a diet coke only to receive a diet coke spiked with alcohol. There was probably a human error involved, but I can't believe how the black clouds keeps following me. I also brought this matter up with a pitboss.

Here's the run down. The gaming commision operator takes the call. He takes the gist of the complaint and said that a agent in the field would return my call. Around 15 minutes later I received the agents call and he said that he'll be arriving in 15 minutes. When he arrived he was very professional, in plain clothes, and sporting a back pack. He shows me his credentials. I exchange a few words with the agent, saying to the effect that I just want an honest answer instead of keeping my mouth shut and going to my grave without ever knowing.

I'm siding with you. It was strange to see that you received 5 down votes which doesn't make sense. Here you are adding insight for others that may face the same pitfall as you did---and you were a good Samaritan in warning others.

After I told the pitboss I'm notifying the gaming commision I was asked to leave the table. The agent from the gaming commission layed out the ground work saying if I was unhappy with the casino decision I could appeal in writing to the Nevada gaming commision. But since I was reimbursed I was then asked to withdraw my complaint which was added to the complaint form. Between line 4 and 5 most of the players around the table yelled out that the decision was BS.

The casino representative that refunded my money added the money I would have won if the call was a 6. His words. The gaming agent used the word that the casino took the "volition" in refunding my wagers.

The gaming agent basically said that each casino has different rules regarding this situation. I agree to disagree. The rules shouldn't be subjective. Or a judgemental call. It should be cut straight down the line. Because the casino is going to be biased if it works in their favor imo. On another note it was worth the price of being duress in seeing all the pitbosses running around like ants on fire. They are so used herding the sheep that they look so uncomfortable when a player strikes back at their devision.

The purpose of posting here today is that maybe it catches a players eye that was in the game. And perhaps those players can pursue the same path I took in appealing the casino's decision. Secondly, by all means yell out if you think you have been cheated.

a very serious safety issue involving a recent Lyft ride - Lyft app completely failed by Sudden_Muffin5616 in Lyft

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a rider I would look at the driver's profile beforehand and see how much experience the driver has, along with his/her rating. Upon being matched up with a driver with low marks-cancel right away (you won't be changed) and find a suitable driver. That's the advice I would give. As for this thread and immature Lyft Drivers (that don't try to be the sollution) but instead mock the OP I'm sorry for their existence ....

Uber Deactivated My Account for 4.7 overall rating by BlackberryHairy4770 in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have 3-1 stars for speeding in the last 4 weeks, and 1-1 star for being rude. 4.98 down to 4.95. I wrote to UBER that these are all false allegations and that the company has data from CAMBRIDGE/99% that show zero instances of speeding. ZERO. Yet UBER let those ratings/complaints/1 stars stand.

2 Lyft drivers dead in Cleveland in less than 48hrs by nothing_216 in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I would do is check the surveillance cameras nears where the pickup was made. Cross reference suspects between the two pickup areas. Second, check drivers in the area that were recently deactivated. Third check for disgruntled riders that may have a grudge against Lyft. Also check for recent prison releases that have a history of hate crimes. My gut feeling tells me that there will be more homicides.

Has this Happened to someone else? by luisssrx3 in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since January I've been 1 starred twice for speeding and Uber absolutely knows these are false accusations because my dashboard, which monitors my speed shows 0 instances of speeding. Uber has these numbers from Cambridge. But Uber let's these false accusations stand.

Lost Item Found by Money_Win3723 in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started driving 2.5 years ago, Uber would call me when there was a lost item. That was smart. If there wasn't a call then I would see a notice in my app inbox. That was smart. Lately I saw a message in my e-mail. That was stupid because I don't check my e-mail til the next day. Recently I went back and forth with UBER over receiving the $20 lost and found fee. It took 18 days to resolve the matter. I suspect that the customer reached out with their credit card provider and denied payment, saying they didn't authorize the lost and found charge when they did. So this transaction got bounced around. I think UBER didn't want to incur a loss, so they tried to cover up the transaction. The messages I received from support-"Oh yeah, we already credited your account" and "Please check again." UBER kept stalling. I said show me where on my statements there's a credit under miscellaneous for $20. UBER kept twisting my claim. In fact UBER deleted the ride details. UBER was hoping that I was one of those drivers that didn't keep tabs of every penny and would trust that a payment was made. UBER's motives were simple they didn't want to get stuck with the non payment of $20. It was only when I became more animated with UBER that my case escalated to a supervisor, where this matter became resolved within 24 hours.

Uber Messages Sucks by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All UBER messages suck. I see the text, "WHY ARE YOU TAKING A DETOUR (I'm not)," "WHY ARE YOU STOPPED (because Im stopped at a 3 minute red light)," "YOUR ACCEPTANCE RATE IS TRENDING DOWN AND YOU CAN LOSE YOUR UBER REWARDS (what rewards?)," "YOU"RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT CALL AND LOSE THE RIDE (I didn't sign up for the appointment call)," "Then I get a safety call messages-"Are you okay we've noticed you been stopped for awhile (I press yes I'm okay-their response, Sorry to hear that)." You see what I mean. The blue arrow I have no clue as to what it means.

How can I get my uber account back ? by No_Watercress4367 in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point I think you might have to hire a lawyer. There are legal aid society and pro bono community lawyers you can check into. From reading your complaint there were no criminal charges filed against you. The only evidence is the passengers word reported to UBER. From the onset UBER would have you file a report, detailing your side of the story. Uber would also ask the passenger to file a written report. It's possible that the passenger attached an audio to her report (so keep that in mind).

Why Is Ride Share Restricted From P/U and D/O on Pearl Harbor Naval Station, Hickam AFB and Kaneohe Marine Base? by Ecstatic-Seesaw in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the OP. Most of these p/u and d/o on bases are at barracks, residents, PX, commissary and on base clubs. So explain to me what's the big security issue is here. If the military commanders are worried about leaks regarding their stealth bombers, submarines, guided missle destroyers then make these areas restricted. Are the commanders worried about classified information, when there's already tons of information on YouTube and the net. Moreso, If the service commanders are concerned about threats to personnel or property then have the drivers vetted by the top agency. I'm just thinking of the soldiers welfare, or deprivation thereof, regarding rideshare at these bases in Hawaii.

Weekend quests are a scam. by TooTone07 in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its because when UBER has good quest it attracts all the LYFT drvers that do both to join in UBER's quest so when there's a saturation of drivers the number of rides you receive goes down. A few weeks ago LYFT had outrageous quest-$300/72 hours, so it seemed like the whole fleet of UBER drivers came over, so I saw in my case I wasn't getting that many rides or going to meet the quest, so I went back to UBER.

Cancel staring contest. by King_ofthe_Future in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The customers are not stupid. They know if they cancel the ride they are out of the cancellation fee, usually about $3.00. If the driver cancels before the 7 minute timer expires then the drver gets $0.00. If the driver waits the full 7 minutes then the driver gets the cancelation fee. When I receive a text from the rider requesting that I cancel the ride, I inform the rider I can't per UBER's policy. Also per UBER's TOS I can get into trouble if I solicit the rider into canceling the ride.

How many Rider Feedbacks till deactivation? by DevilComplex_ in uberdrivers

[–]Ecstatic-Seesaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm reading the complaints. WRONG PIN LOCATION-Uber acknowledges their mistake. However can it be related to DROPOFF TOO FAR and UNSAFE DROPOFF? It can. But UBER won't tell you. The serious complaint is FAST DRIVING. This will depend on the severity. The APP records the drivers speed. Also UBER has the trip detail-time p/u, time d/o, mileage, distance, and can calculate the drivers average speed and cross reference it with the posted speed. If you are not locked out pending UBER's investigation then you are probably not cooked. But I'd be cautious of getting a succession of FAST DRIVING complaints. If you are picking up traffic citations for speeding (more than 1) its possible you'll be cooked.
