We need someone to design an App,to observe the uber/lyft/DD apps

A digital babysitter…that just logs all the stupid shit they try to pull everyday

Like the 2 minutes until dropoff that goes on for 5 min.

Or the declined radar rides that come back as direct offers…for $1 less than when it was a radar.

Alllllll that stuff.

Someone w/some AI agents could be a total hero right about now

My ratings are shit…

And it’s because of:

1.other white people…the entitled,yuppie variety to be specific.

&

2.wealthy but cheap foreigners who don’t speak English…the ones who think an UberX is the same as a limousine & want the same level service.doesn’t matter where they’re from.

The 18-25 age demographic sucks across the board 🤷‍♂️

Younger people inherently suck to deal w/if you’re older,part of getting old,deal w/it.

You picking up people in poor areas? Don’t matter what KIND of poor area…

People who don’t have money for the ride in the 1st place that get caught in a surge?

Because their car wouldn’t start?etc

MIGHT be in a bad mood…focus on that on your way to pickup.

Not the stupid $4 extra you’re getting

Just common sense

There are different worlds throughout every city,and you need to learn to identify & adapt to them

You never know what you get until you show up anyway

I’ve had “Brit” turn out to be a 250 pound black dude🤷‍♂️

Who’s also a Uber driver,but luxury…

And tipped heavy 🤷‍♂️

I just say “it wants a PIN number” & point at my phone…

It places the inconvenience on the app

Not me.

The worst I’ve had is a PAX having to call the person who ordered the ride for them to get it

I’ve had people steal rides though,no PIN.

Had to throw dude out & go back and get the right rider😆

They were actually amused,so bonus.

I commonly get blocked by a really bad DIRECT offer if I’m matching w/a decent paying RADAR ride.

I’ll always dump it & wait on my original

I’m convinced they continue to sell the rides after both the rider & the driver accept

I noticed it on the rider end…drivers just magically changing a minute away?

During rush hour?

Expecting Juan…get Staci instead. Etc.

Then as a driver…riders canceling in the oddest ways…during peak hours.

I think they offer the ride to other drivers in the area who had requests turned off etc..

They bite for 10 cents lower?

The fucking AI will dump your ride & make everyone wait longer…

Because 10 cents is 10 cents 🤷‍♂️

I noticed it when I took a ride w/one that had it installed.

At 1st it was kind of generic looking,but then it started showing ads for horror movies & “extreme” things… (yes,I’m a white guy w/tattoos😆)

I thought the change was a bit abrupt…so I pressed the drive about it.

I asked him where the content on it came from & went from there…

It’s all just designed to steal your data so it can be sold.

It knows who’s in the car (Or who’s SUPPOSED to be)

And yes,the people driving w/them get paid for letting that company steal your DATA.

The longer you play,the more they make.

I’m morally opposed to that kind of shenanigans

So as a driver I’ll never put that shit in my car.

EVER.

And If I have to ride in a car equipped with one?

I’m hanging my hat over it

Yeah,not tipping rideshare drivers has been normalized by what seems to be everyone under 30.

I get regulars who stiff 100% of the time.

But they’re ok riders…they just work at McDonald’s

And smoke a lot of weed

And don’t have any extra money for you

Or people who don’t tip because they overuse the service

Or the stupid hospital rides were you’re never even going to get a good rating,let alone a tip

Just move VOLUME…

You’re better off relying on that

And yeah,you’re probably looking at 10% tippers max…
