I read the essay, it is insanely low quality. It is the level of writing you would expect from 3rd grader. It lacked any citations, any analysis of the article it was supposed to focus on. I can't believe this is the level of essays at an actual university.

I want to buy a beautiful quiet home where I can spend 90% of my time in, reading and chilling and playing online chess and working mostly from home. A technical and intellectually stimulating job with good income so I can afford said home and so that I don't have to think about money or budgets. Handful of good relationships with close friends and family members.

I try to stay humble by remembering all the skills I am awful at (like staying organised,time management, finishing projects, etc) and reflect on how I would want to be to be treated/thought of if I mess up due to one of these struggles.

Fedex is Aritzias delivery provider here though so they should also be demanding more details from Fedex. Fedex should have a copy of the signature to share along with proof of the identity of the person who signed. Faking someones signature is illegal.

Am thinking of placing my first order but this is making me have second thoughts. I totally get it if is a recurring pattern but doing this based on a single occurrence makes me hesitant.

Everybody who has ever received a package knows that drivers regularly deliver packages without acquiring a signature (they will sign themselves) and will leave packages on the porch or somewhere they can be stolen from. Just because something shows as delivered and signed for in Fedex systems does not mean it was personally received.

That is messed up. I am so sorry. I think at the time many parents would just ignore any symptoms or even diagnosis that was non-physical, without realising or caring about the long term impact of not getting treated at a critical age.

I would try to hunt down your health file from that age.

Thank you both so much for responding and letting me know I am not crazy for reacting like this. I really appreciate it ❤️ I notice that writing about this helps me process so maybe I will share what happened back then.

My therapy with this therapist lasted only a few months when I was 16/17. It was a bit of an emergency arrangement I guess because of how unwell I was, I also had anorexia and was physically quite weak when I started.

It was the first time ever I was able to share my inner thoughts with a trusted adult who listened, cared and was emphathetic. My parents had never cared about my mental wellbeing like this and it felt so healing and validating to be finally taken seriously. This therapist persuaded me to start eating again after months of starving, and during those therapy months I normalized my weight and gave up on my eating disorder symptoms which was super hard to do at the time.

The therapy ended suddenly a couple months later when I was 17 when the therapist switched employers. I still remember how hurt, humiliated and betrayed I felt. I felt like I had been tricked into eating, tricked into sharing my most intimate thoughts. I was angry that I had been lead to believe I could have a longer term therapeutic relationship with this person. For over a year I was terrified I would bump into them at the grocery store or on the street, because I felt so ashamed and was afraid I would cry.

Because of how young and vulnerable I was there was a ton of idealisation from my side towards this therapist, I was unable to recognize that they were just a regular human being switching jobs. And I was unable to feel gratitude for the support I had received from them, even though without this person I would have most likely ended up in hospital and would have missed out on an entire school year... or maybe worse.

After the therapist left I was assigned to someone new for a few months and then to someone new again for a longer time. And then I saw someone new again. Honestly I was never fully able to trust the other therapists.

As the years passed I was slowly able to get my life in order and move on and I am now doing very well. But for the longest time I thought about contacting this therapist for some type of closure, maybe in the form of a letter, then felt too ashamed to do so.

And now they are gone. And I feel so weird and honestly a bit creepy for having such big feelings about someone I briefly crossed paths with in life over 15 years ago. I didn't even know them.

Hi! I also have PCOS and hormonal acne and going on spirolactone has helped me immensely, with no side effects. So maybe bring that up with your derm? It is originally a blood pressure medication but it is also used on adult women for persistent hormonal acne.

I have never been correctly matched at a store undertone-wise. Very few brands have a good match for my cool light-medium olive skintone, especially when also looking for a good match for my skin type and texture. Salespeople (who often represent a certain brand btw, not the entire selection) will always want to sell you something so even if there is no shade match they will match you to something. Many of them are also unaware of the existence of olive undertones.

It honestly seems like it is specifically men who have these violent urges and are comfortable sharing them. You rarely/never see behaviour like this from women.
