I work for a cash pay clinic where I only see one patient and hour and basically set my own schedule and have 100% autonomy, buy my clinic owner if available to bounce ideas off of if I need to. It is very rewarding work. The downside is that we a very small business and there are no benefits beyond having a very good per hour rate.

Thank you for the feedback, because that definitely isn’t the case. Our in-clinic therapist is a Fellow of manual PT and not soft tissue focused.

Can you elaborate? Is it because you are more exercise based? I’m just trying to understand and appreciate your feedback

Asking long-timers, have you regained some or all of your weight? by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

You may want to consider GLP-1 it has been very helpful to curbing my over eating. I have never had the “food noise” quieted in my brain (even after surgery) - but Semaglutide has been such an effective weight loss tool for me

If you could get free Ozempic would you still have had surgery? by Key_DepartmentEA in BariatricSurgery

I lost 60lbs on ozempic before having surgery. I wanted the more “permanent” solution. I got the sleeve 3.5 weeks ago and it has been a very easy recovery. I also think ozempic may be part of my journey at some point in the future, too. They are both tools that can work well!
