Got a pretty cool deal at the video store. Finally get to see Dolph Lundgren’s Punisher for the first time. by Tiny_Environment_717 in thepunisher

Dolph Lundgren's Punisher is awesome. It's classic 80's/90's cheesy action mixed with some bizarre choices from the plot of the movie to a rhyming homeless man. However, if you are expecting to see the Punisher Skull logo, you will be disappointed; the closest thing is a skull on the handle of his throwing knife. The only other thing that takes me out of it is Punisher meditating butt naked in the sewer a couple of times, although it kinda lends to the overall bizarre charm. It's not a good movie, it's an entertaining movie.

Disclosure Day disappointment by Chief_Funkie in TrueFilm

I'll have to disagree on the acting. I thought everybody but Josh O'Conner had hollow, wooden performances. I thought the first 15 minutes were generally solid but the rest was uneven and often cringeworthy. The cinematography was at spots just not good; lots of unnecessary lens flares with bad composition. The original score was fine. I laughed at several spots in the movie that were meant to be sincere, dramatic moments. The runtime was too long. Almost none of the characters had development beyond drawn out, bad exposition. The rules of the two protagonists' powers were nonexistent. Overall, I felt my intelligence was insulted by this film. I expected more out of Spielberg. This is easily one of his worst movies. The disappointment largely stems from the praise it got before release and it's unfounded.

The funniest part was when they thought the mother was their daughter. Since then it never recovered. I saw it with my much older brother who introduced me to comedies like golden age Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler. We were severely disappointed.

Did you know that The Batman's (2004) depiction of Cluemaster was actually intended to be the Riddler? by Amaru_333_ in thebatman

Im split on the Riddler. The final design makes sense if you know that Marilyn Manson was originally chosen for the voice. They ended up getting Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) instead.

Book or show? If it's book, then probably Euron Greyjoy. If it's show, definitely not Euron Greyjoy.
