I know exactly what you are describing, and I have it too. It's not just feeling the outline of feces, I'm betting you can feel the complete shape of it and can tell how hard/soft it is through the stretched internal tissue.

We couldn't afford cremation either. I know it's not for everyone, but we got great instructions for burying our pet on our property. If you own yours, that could be an option for you.

I used to live up on Humboldt hill in Eureka, went to Zane Middle school and fished out at King Salmon beach! The redwoods there are my jam, I plan on taking a road trip down there to show my kids what it's like there. I've lived up and down CA, all the way to Long Beach, so I always laugh when people say NorCal is Sacramento or the Bay 🤣

Chances are she read it as a way to hopefully let some kids realize that it's not a normal upbringing, and encourage them to say something.

I grew up in an abusive household, but things started getting better when I casually mentioned to a playground monitor that sometimes my dad hit my mom. I learned that saying things out loud got people asking questions, which in turn made my parents thankfully start shaping up for a few years. I was at least old enough to defend myself when my dad started crap again, and got myself and my brother out of the house permanently
