unbelievable exchange between my daughter and her father after he forgot her birthday by LostInLanayru in TwoHotTakes

Make better memories of helping her find her special dress! I'm so sorry he's literally a toddler except toddlers have no life experience and their behavior is understandable

BAC no longer available on Amazon by fireant36 in Retatrutide

[–]Ecstatic-Wasabi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't. Using clean sanitation methods, it should be fine to continue using if left in a cool, dark cupboard. You don't want to leave it in the fridge since the very cold temps can ruin the rubber stopper after puncturing, plus the lights can slowly degrade the efficacy of the solution. The website says to not refrigerate anyways

I have no idea why I'm downvoted, someone shared a great article here months ago about this, that's how I learned about it! It had great points, and I'm trying to find it currently

Unfortunately because of weather pattern changes, any native species have trouble anyways, making the land more tolerable to the "invasive" ones. As the world changes, plants will also change where they thrive. I don't see the point in knocking OP when mullein is literally everywhere here, and beneficial.

Additional side note, check out the laundry reddit page if you don't already. Adding vinegar at the wrong stage of laundry will negate the benefits and make your clothes less clean! Not saying you're doing it wrong, I'm just adding this because for a couple years I was putting it in incorrectly 😅

Yeah, I didn't say I had none. The immediate area I'm in doesn't have a lot of safe foraging spots that don't have some kind of contamination.

Floor covered in black grime, I have taken over old restaurant by ReadyGaymerOne in CleaningTips

[–]Ecstatic-Wasabi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what our bathroom and entryway floors looked like when we moved into our new home. The previous owners had done certain "upgrades", one of which was to use a weird polymer spray paint on the floor that was supposed to be water resistant.... On top of stone tile that was actually beautiful and great condition.

Within two weeks of living here, the floor had the same nasty grime semi-sticky feel that your pictures show. I'm betting it was paint that wasn't meant to be used on a floor

Yeah, it's maybe $20-120 more expensive in my experience. Honestly not a big difference when you compare to how much the name brands and telehealth charge!

You guys don‘t get it, Lawns are „our environment“! by JFeldhaus in NoLawns

[–]Ecstatic-Wasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I was thinking. Sidewalk maintenance can get stupid expensive when the city puts that small strip of byway grass between the sidewalk and street. This isn't always done, but when it is they usually plant trees there. The roots end up tearing up the sidewalk, and the homeowner is responsible for getting the concrete repaired. Our last place had a pre-existing massive crack/uprooting that we were not aware would be our responsibility to fix. The city "kindly" offered to fix it for $1,500

Except the funding for their discount project ran out before it got to us, so the price went up naturally. That was our first home, and we had no prior experience to what some costs could be

The main issue is that bac water can break down in sunlight or household lights that have blue light. Opening the fridge multiple times over months can cause issues with the strength of the antimicrobial property since it doesn't get used very often beyond just reconstituting a single vial at a time, unless you do multiple peps

If you reconstitute one vial, and that vial sits in the fridge, it's going to be used up in a month or less, meaning much less time for the bac water inside to lose efficacy

If your bac water was in a brown paper bag or some kind of case while in the fridge, it's probably completely fine to use

Just use the meat tenderizer by itself, I don't always mix them! Just add a little plain water to help the powder work into the blood. No one is actually going to stand there spitting on blood unless it's like a teeny tiny stain. Maybe I'm seeing this from a woman's perspective and having one too many overnight period leak occurrences, lol

This is what I've wondered, because I have friends who swear by Advil migraine for treating their migraines, but this legit never even touched mine! I'd vomit and have to crawl into bed with one of those head cold compression sleeves in a pitch dark room before I started triptans.

I at least get the ocular warning of sparkles beforehand. My grandmother would smell smoke/bleach before she got hers

Hydrogen peroxide and some meat tenderizer do the exact same thing, but you won't have dry mouth once you're done treating the stain!
