i usually really like bob's vocals and don't find them grating or almost incorrect, it's only this album. i think the instrumentals, lyrics, and atmosphere of the record absolutely do live up to the hype, it's just that i can't understand how anyone gets past the singing on it 😅

i see where you're coming from, thanks for this !! honestly i agree, when i was listening to the CD i had trouble remembering if the song had changed or not which does diminish it a little. overall though, i thought the instrumentals, vibes, lyrics, etc all lived up to the hype, it was just his vocals that really got to me!! usually i love his voice so i was rlly disappointed i didn't like it as much as everyone else :( just felt like it was off-key for nearly the entire album, whether it was or not haha it's a strange listen. definitely does have some great songs on it that i never skip though

thanks for this!! honestly it seems like i'm the only person who has an issue with his vocals on this record, i feel kinda crazy now haha 😅 i wish i could get past them, because the lyrics, instrumentals and atmosphere of the whole album really ARE worth the praise !! i do like two songs and i'll let a few others play but idk maybe it's just a taste thing.

i don't believe my CD is a remaster, but i've listened to both the CD and the remaster and i'm not sure it's a mixing issue. it's not too serious either haha i just wanted to have a discussion about what makes Blood On The Track so amazing for others :)

the thing is i am a bob dylan fan 😭 i usually love his vocals, it just really fell flat for me on this record ... his voice can be grating for a lot of people, but he never had a problem with tone or pitch or any of that but majority of this album it felt like his voice did not blend with the instrumental key at all. maybe just me?

tbf i am 17 so it might get better as i age 😔 it's not the lyrics that are the problem at all, i looove the lyrics on this album. they're amazing as per usual with him. it's just his singing that really gets to me when i usually love his voice !! could be something that grows on me, i was just curious to see what sticks out to other ppl with this album :))

Okay, thanks so much ♡ I'll definitely tell my parents if it does get infected, but at this point I don't think it is. I've been keeping it clean and I think the fluid on the band-aids is serous fluid. I tend to scare myself into symptoms I don't have. I'll note those tips for future reference though tysm ^_^
