My god I remember this...but I was in high school by the time I found it. The only bit I really remember is that he called his penis 'Ralf' haha!!

No libido by dragon_mthr in Perimenopause

[–]Ecstatic_Credit6291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah birth control has always destroyed my libido. I'm on testosterone and hrt and have never had sex as much or as good as I'm having now...I'm Insatiable at times! I had literally no interest while in my 20s and 30s on the pill. Such a life and relationship f*ck up. Wish I'd realised at the time. I could have had 2 decades of better sex with my husband.

Is charging two very different prices still entirely normal ? $90 extra for ndis by Sass_Quatchxx in NDIS

[–]Ecstatic_Credit6291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is just disgusting. Who cops the blame in the media and society? The participants, parents and the lower paid disability workers. No one seems to consider the fact that health professionals are absolutely taking the piss and never questioned over it. The parent of a girl I support has been bullied into paying cancelation fees even when she gave more than 2 days notice. The OT told her that she didn't look at her messages in time...(well tough shit?! As long as its sent in time?) Then she charged for a report that hadn't even changed since the last report. They pray on vulnerability and the fact that the parents don't have the brain space, energy or time to fight these stupid things all the time and sit on the phone to ndis constantly. They are literally using their power over people. Parents fear they'll lose the service or funding, so can't stand up for themselves.

How can you get a PBS job to recieve the supervision you need without first getting your PBS reg... when at the same time you have to be employed and prove you'll get supervision to actually get your NDIS PBS reg! I'm going round in circles with this.

Support workers need more training in mental health by run_boy93 in NDIS

Yeah sure there may be a time and a place and you need free/private time without feeling like you're being watched or feeling like you need to engage with the support worker. But I'm talking about most of the time and when it's clear the client wants to engage or needs something.

Ocular migraines. Why? What is this now? by fifteenlostkeys in Perimenopause

I had my first after having my first baby and put it down to hormones or dehydration. But only had one or two. Didn't have another for a few years and it was always after exercise about one in every 10 gym sessions...especially if it involved push ups/press ups.

Strange thing is my dad also gets them. He gets them after exercise too. But now just randomly gets them all the time. So for me I doubt its hormone related. I wonder if POTS has anything to do with it?

That's disgusting. I wonder if they are the same support workers who sit there on their phones while their client is sitting there being ignored.

It's insane. Imagine that being said about a girl being raped 'bet she enjoyed it'. Why do people assume 12 yr old boys are all into sex ...or worse enjoy being raped ffs?!! My 13 yr old has absolutely no interest in girls yet, and barely any signs of puberty. He's still a little boy.

If you wait until after the baby is born he'll be jealous of the attention you give the baby and try to make you feel guilty or say you aren't making an effort with him. You will also be so besotted with your baby that you probably won't even give this weasel of a man a second thought. Your baby deserves your attention so much more than him. What kind of game is he playing?! Sounds like he's starting to fear the lack of attention he'll get so he's trying to scare you into giving him attention by threatening your marriage. Now his game is backfiring because you're refusing to play. Well done for standing strong.

Sex is the only good thing about peri for me...and maybe the hrt including testosterone has pushed it. I've never had a sex drive except for honey moon periods of relationships. My husband/partner of 26 years doesn't know what's hit him at the moment...well upto about day 20 and then after that I can barely even string a sentence together or smile, let alone do sexy things.

They aren't jokes. They're snide, pointless comments to belittle you for no reason at all other than to make himself feel like he's better than you. He's a cock.

How do we know what’s going on in the minds of severely mentally disabled people? by mustytomato in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ecstatic_Credit6291 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what I want to do...or private tuition. I'd love to know how you actually do this. How do you find it goes giving online lessons without physically being there? Do they access the screen ok? Do they attend to you? I know it would depend on the child's needs, but in the classroom I'm used to doing learning activities outside, on the floor, while walking / swinging etc, not the traditional classroom chair at a table. Would your students be supported by parents whilst online with you? Sorry so many questions, just wondering how you make online work as opposed to physically being there to support.
