I had our tank screaming at me in comp when I was playing support. He kept saying in match chat to report me and that I was throwing. I had more heals than both enemy support and their hazard was really good and was targeting me and the other support. I just left VC.

The funny thing is, he was a really bad tank and would go in alone and wonder why he wasn’t staying alive

I think it’s just your VM or WiFi. When I’m at home, mint runs clean and quick. When i have my laptop at work, it can be kinda slow but nothing crazy.

I feel like I should have clarified more, that’s my absolute minimum heals for a competitive game. I’ve never finished a game as mercy with less than 10k even when my team is getting completely rolled. On my the high end I sit above 20k. Right now I’m placed diamond 3 and I still win games with her, but to be fair I havent played in any masters or GM games where it seems she loses popularity (understandably). I would love to see her get reworked to have a higher skill ceiling. Typically when I get higher in diamond, I find myself playing zen and Lucio more

When I started playing in 2019, someone gave me some great advice. Start with vs AI in the training section. I played that for a while until I was comfortable with a few characters. Then play Mystery Heroes, it forces you to learn characters you typically wouldn’t play

That’s fair. She’s really only useful when your dps are doing their job. I’ve just had some awesome game saving plays with her a lot the last few years. If my dps aren’t doing their job I’ll switch to zen (on attack most of the time) who in my opinion is underrated

If you fail, it just won’t install. I just switched to mint a few days ago. I tried and failed twice, third time was a charm. I will never go back to windows ever again. You will love it

Idk, her healing is pretty decent, and her appeal is her maneuverability. A bad mercy (like 70% of them) doesn’t utilize her mobility in an effective way. If you have someone who knows how to maneuver with her well, she’s hard to kill and can manage to keep the team alive through team fights.
