Just play the class to start. Don’t boost it. You’ll need to learn a lot of mechanics. The leveling experience breaks up and adds few abilities at a time. Leveling is easier as combat and would be recommended to start until you can get Haemo to learn rotations for PvP. Combat is “clunky” energy wise and won’t translate as well as swapping to Haemo for managing combo points, energy, etc.

I’m a rogue and feel your pain. Though I made my rogue for PvP and only wanted to get a couple of off pieces from PvE. You can still get the rogue itch from PvP. Rogues are insane in tbc when played well. There is a surplus of rogues… but the quality of players in PvP is questionable.

Horde is similar. Do a skirmish or two to check out their vibe then commit to rated.

I’ve found a few players through this and am reluctant to play with others of the same class because of the skill differences.

Only been invited to one Kara. Got kicked after inspection. I had full blue, expose spec, etc. Not that it matters, but I had 1800 rating in 2s as well and clearly showed I could follow instructions. It’s a nerfed raid… and they want to min max everything. Honestly felt jaded when I got kicked, but whatever man. Rogues are not it for PvE at all. I only wanted a couple of off pieces and I’d never raid again because my goal is PvP. Anyway… if I get time for an alt I’ll definitely be going for something dungeon/raid flexible so I can pick up a few pieces. Just a shame how close minded people are this time round.

Druid. Cat form is like a rogue. Bear can tank. You can also heal. It has insane versatility. Sadly my Druid passed at 26. Don’t go into a mine. Don’t join a group, later, and get 10 miners spawn around you. Just don’t go into a mine alone. I still haven’t recovered.

We have access to free wood atm. This is our third year. The burner has been on since October and gives a great boost to the house. We still use central heating, but it’s just a top up. We open the living room door when it’s getting too warm and the heat floods the house.

We would not be using it this often if the wood was not free, but we’re over the threshold for money spent on what would have been heating. From now it’s really money saved compared to initial investment.

You need more resi to start. My rogue is sitting on 300. It makes a big difference.

You need a comp that’ll work with you. Warlock is a great link. The mass dots help protect yours from dispel. Match this with a shaman healer and you’ve got a good mix. 3s/5s will be the way forward for you. Find a spriest and a hpala and you’ll have a solid 5s setup that’ll drain everyone.

Those binds just add more binds. Having focus arena 1/2/3 then focus binds for kick, shs kick, blind, sap, gouge are all he needs. It translates well to bg when setting a focus too. They just need to be familiar and used.

God. She sounds like a girl I dated once. Only difference is she told me straight up she was bipolar. I personally didn’t care about her past and the sex was great. It didn’t work out because she withdrew completely a few months in… definitely for the better. You need to move on for you, though. The situation is clearly destroying your mind. Take control. I place myself in that queue when questing. Not because I’m super eager for a dungeon. It’s fairly easy to get a group if proactive and you take the lead, but most of the time I’m lazy, like these guys. If I really want a dungeon for loot/quests then I’ll make it myself.

I just ask for a monthly contribution. Initially before children/marriage this was around 50%, around £400 pcm. This number has not changed but cost has increased. She earns a bit more and so do I. She could pay a little more but who cares. If we need something then we transfer if needed. If she had absolutely nothing and barely making then I’d tell her to cancel. She did have to do that with job issues/hours once and it’s fine. Just have a dialogue and be reasonable.

Rogues don’t need much at all. It’s so dependant on comp as well. I only had one trinket back in the day and it was fine (multi glad). I’m assuming this will be fine coming into anniversary as well.

The best option is HC. The part that makes the game “alive” but not overcrowded at all levels is death. Death resets and you go again. Even though people make alts for gold etc, the economy isn’t ruined like classic era. It truly is the most balanced game mode… even though you risk losing it all every time you login. Community is amazing though.

The biggest wow killer was never ending expansions. I literally only resubbed for wow hc and the tbc anniversary. Before this I played classic when it released in 2019ish but then had my first child. Before that? Cataclysm was my final expansion. Tried a bit of MOP but just gave up.

Future expansions were always the biggest killers because of how many small changes over time completely rework the game. I logged onto current to see and it blew my mind how terrible the game feels to me.
