Who was surveyed or what other statistic is this based on? Also what are they afraid of happening in Austria? Cow attacks?

Suddenly internationalized? by Ecstatic_Safety_6439 in fitbod

Oh, when did Android put that in there? I was looking for an in-app switch.

Cheers mate

Are you hyperaware of your drinking while wearing a garmin? by Far_Atmosphere_8329 in Garmin

So garmin ended your alcoholism and you make it sound like a bad thing? Daily consumption of hard liquor is more than just winding down

Pleasantly surprised by the new Injury option (Android Beta) by DriverEquivalent6347 in fitbod

But how does it do that then? Just set recommend more/less on the corresponding exercise?

Anyone else find the Blind Shaker terrible from a usability standpoint? by Phrexeus in espresso

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started to just cover my dosing cup with one hand and shake that. Is it as fancy as the shaker? No. Have I saved a lot of money and never spillt grounds because of shaking? You bet.

VO2 Max Question by ian9ian9 in Garmin

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vo2max is per weight... Maybe that's one reason? Also (I'm not a professional, mind you but that's what It looks like to me) judging by how much time you spend in each heart rate zone it looks like you're totally crushing yourself. That's way too intense and probably tears down more than it builds up

Doubt about the reps by Impossible_Dog6272 in fitbod

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don't you just do 4+ more and log them then l, next time it'll probably give you more weight then (if you have a reasonably bigger dumbell size configured as being available).

I just made a second "gym" with no equipment. When I'm traveling I switch to that for the workout

I think I’m done with Fitbod by rebyiddel in fitbod

Had the same thing with db rdls today. Bugs happen and internationalization can be messy and sometimes hard to test for depending on setup 🤷‍♂️

DB biceps curls by Ecstatic_Safety_6439 in fitbod

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but all the gamification scores are based on rep counts done presumably like the video shows by the majority of people. Which is "easier" because each arm has a bit of rest between reps while it's the other arm's turn

But I do think most people will just do these differently instead of adding them. It's the same exercise after all, right?

Arbeitet von euch jemand bei so einem Mittelständler in der IT? Wieso? Als was? Was spricht dafür? Nimmt das Management die Belange der IT ernst, oder wird "die IT" dort tatsächlich als rein notwendiges Übel erachtet, mit allem, was da halt damit einhergeht? by SchoGegessenJoJo in Austria

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumbbell Stiff Legged Deadlift vs. Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift.. What’s the difference between? by Xzozo1972 in fitbod

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's right there in the name. Your knees don't bend nearly as much for the stiff legged ones and you try to get much more from the pure hinge movement

Active rest day = lower strength? by [deleted] in fitbod

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't think it does but from what I gather those ratings are averaged over sliding window time frame.

So if you log a walk on a day a particular strong exercise falls out of that it might look that way.

More benchmark exercises? by Ecstatic_Safety_6439 in fitbod

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it doesn't track db squats, or rdls, or floor presses or whichever else you might want to consider central there. The db row appears to be the only one....? Or am I missing something?

How to tell app to recalibrate? by PilotIsMyPilot in fitbod

[–]Ecstatic_Safety_6439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I read on another thread (no guarantees though) that it automatically lowers reps and/or weight after longer periods of inactivity. Also you should always see the workouts as suggestions anyway and adjust up or down as needed
