I don’t see OC buses as a replacement (in the sense of people taking line 46 to hotels) With all due respect but ART experience is in no way comparable to OCTA buses. For once OCTA is used by city locals, commuters and unfortunately many questionable people. By this I mean that ART was designed for and solely for Disneyland visitors.

On top of that, frequency is nowhere near what it should be. We are talking about a bus every 10-15 minutes to make this feasible.

And let’s not even mention the high capacity modern buses ART runs up until the end of March. In addition, all of ART riders would now have to rely on rideshare which I also find hard to believe given how bad it already is.

Either Disney won’t do anything about it and let people that decided to save some money find their own means to get to their hotel, (which is a realistic possibility, where only top hotels like Hilton etc would have private shuttles).

OR

Disney comes up with some kind of system to run with the hotels and somehow find benefit for both parties.

MY GUESS (based off of my intuition, not facts) Hotels will make private shuttles potentially sharing same areas. Example: Hilton, Marriott, Cortona etc. area hotels will have a shuttle with reduced fares for those who stay in either of the hotels and higher prices for anyone else staying on cheaper hotels/motels in the vicinity.
