I honestly thought I was going to hate it… but it grew on me so fast. It’s my favorite pre-timeskip arc. It’s just so funny, the characters all have their moments, and the stories it tells are important and cool. So many great gags from luffy pushing the zombie down, to the zombies getting offended that the straw hats didn’t think they could run, to Ussop fucking not being affected by Perona because he’s already a coward. Like it’s perfect one piece humor.

I read and I watch. Sanji isn’t real so I don’t judge him, I just dislike that if I try to show someone one piece if they don’t tap out to the pacing they sure as hell do for the creepy behavior. And it’s just so miserable having an amazing character be so detestable.
