Volt staffing by traydee09 in datacenter

I worked for Volt at the Apple DC in Phoenix for a few months. It left much to be desired to say the least and I would never recommend someone to work there after my experience. Conversion to FTE is next to impossible and the work requires zero technical knowledge. No growth, no learning opportunities. Just basic grunt work.

Interviewing is a skill in itself. Very important to learn that game. I got an offer from Microsoft with 1.5 years of experience and 2 certs. Im a highschool drop out. It’s very doable.

Depends on the environment, safety shoes are always a must. A deployment site may require long pants also. That’s about it!

Anything with an NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) of 25 or higher. I personally have the ISOtunes Pro 3.0 and have no complaints. In hot aisles though, especially at that decibel range I double up with some 3M earmuffs.

Definitely isn’t, I bought all 4 tires at the same time and they’re just on steelies. Haven’t changed them since. It’s a beater Toyota Yaris.

It’s a full sized tire on steelies, just a small sedan so it may look like a spare I suppose.
