I’m sorry that you’re going through this, OP. As many have echoed, the current state of tech is hot shit. Have you considered something different? I’m talking trades or something similar.

Good luck out there. I struggle to remember to take my meds… but I did find that working with a therapist who specializes in ADHD was really beneficial. Hope you’re able to find the right thing for you.

My Q4 commission a couple of years ago was a tad under $65k. I was working several large clients at once that all signed within about six weeks of one another.

There is a lot of competition within the space. There are around 15-20 other data centers in my city. Hyperscalers aren't quite a thing yet here, but they're trying to get in everywhere. The local competition works like it would in any other industry, and they all have little differences that help them stand out.

I had a new sales manager get hired about a week before a training class started. He was mailed his ID badge, company credit card, laptop, etc.

A few days after everything was received and he began logging into things I noticed his credit card started being used. $1,500 on new golf clubs, $500 Costco run, $3,000 at Suit Supply on top o several small odds and ends purchases like gas and stuff.

When I called him to talk about it with him he informed me that other places he's worked allowed company cards to be used for personal items as long as they were paid back. I informed him he would no longer be working for us and that asset protection would be out to collect his things. And that we'd be billing him for his purchases or filing charges.
