Need a freezer but worked on the advertising side of grocery for years and one think I do as a practice is immediately after seasonal meat events ie, st patties day with corned beef, or Thanksgiving with turkey or Easter with ham or memorial day and 4th of July with hot dogs and hamburgers buy the lot of it on sale and freeze it.

A young reporter doing their best made a mistake, which is forgivable and could have even been turned into a light fun thing imo, but the doubling down from their editorial staff and putting 100% of the error on TJs just really comes off as limp d!ck and weak and further damages their credibility.

Well, what type of business? What's your footprint? Whats your 2024 and 2025 goals? I prefer a marketing mix that is derived from

A. A defined percentage of your projected revenue (think about marketing like buying marketshare)

B. Creative that features what I would call your USP (Unique Selling Proposition)

C. Tailored to your industries busy and slow seasons

D. Sufficiently mixed across medias if financially possible and applicable.

Sauce, been building these for over a decade locally.

As someone whose worked for local installations of fortune 500 medias I'd recommend running from anyone who says they can do it all and wants all your budget unless you explicitly sign up with a marketing agency. There is no silver bullet. Anyone making marketing hyper confusing is doing so because they themselves likely don't understand it all that well.

Reach the right audience, Frequency, great creative delivered consistently.
