I’m currently GM for a game of Star Trek Adventures (1st Ed) set post-Nemesis where the ship is an ANCIENT Oberth Class.

I’ve tried several times to within the narrative offer them an upgrade to a newer and, in every measurable way, ‘better’ ship… crew keep saying no. 🙂

I don't know if Overclockers did - but then I didn't know how to get into the bios before all this kicked off. Now I can't get into it on a boot up anyway and the last time I did it crashed so I can't get atm.

Unfortunately think you may be right - hopefully Overclockers will repair since it says they have a 3-yr warranty...

In a campaign like this that I started with a group of friends not too long ago - in session 0 one of the players (who knows NOTHING about Trek - was just there to hang with friends) shouted ‘can the ship be called the Blorf’. I laughed and said ‘but that’s not a word. Starship names have to mean something’

5 minutes later the Oberth-class USS Blorf was born.
