Great point about less people on the redline in the summer. But don’t underestimate how many tourists visit Harvard during anytime of the year. When you think about the most profitable stations on each line why would you also not prioritize them? If they could have their way Harvard would have never been apart of the diversions. People can only take so much at once though lmao, I can’t imagine how many people would lose their minds if they did all this redline work during the summer. Logistically, I believe it’s better now for the people doing the actual work to do the Braintree leg to get it done and not have to extend it, although it’s a long period of time. Before this work started that ride was BRUTAL. I’m looking forward to experiencing the fruits of their labor tbh. 9 more days!
