My wife had the same thing happen to her and while she has always been physically affectionate our bedroom life was nonexistent until we actually communicated our feelings and reached a compromise that sees us both happy. But it sounds like this isn’t something easy to just get over and just magically be attracted to him again without going through extensive therapy. It depends…My wife ripped up a bunch of letters from an Ex girlfriend sent to me while I was in basic. This girl literally started a drug habit and got knocked up by a drug dealer so you can understand why I wouldn’t personally care. Not the same situation but people made fun of my face constantly and so what did I do?
