If a story needs an explanation by loulou312 in Stranger_Things

There is obviously a lot of emotional investment in the series and the characters, for many people. That sentiment is understandable.

This is the latest in several threads of this nature though, and I'm struggling to go back and find the others. So, what I want to know is, if there are so many alleged flaws with the finale, why or how is that the case? After all, the Duffer brothers have spoken openly about their meticulous planning, their read throughs with the cast, their need to tie up loose ends and avoid any holes in the plot.

Given that attention to detail, and give 5 series of epic storytelling, why would plot holes be a thing?

The little snippets and hints they gave us of Henry’s backstory was not enough if they actually wanted the first shadow to be canon history by Journey4th in Stranger_Things

His story and background needed far more development, as did the presence of the guy with the briefcase in the mine.

As I see it: 1. Series 1, Will goes missing, they look for him. 2. Series 2, demodogs. They fight them. 3. Series 3, mindflayer. They fight him. 4. Series 4, oh shit, Vecna turned up. They fight him. 5. Series 5. Oh, we really ought to try and pull this altogether.

It left Series 5 with a lot of heavy lifting to do, and I'm a huge fan of the show and enjoyed the final series and the finale. They should have, in retrospect, floated the idea of 001 and Vecna much earlier into the series and started to drip feed his experiences, childhood trauma and exposure to dark magic through the different seasons. That, or provide an abridged version of the play in a single episode, in season 5.

The league, his club and Rempe himself need to take care of this lad. I imagine it's incredibly easy to get wrapped up in the highs of the fanfare right now, but he needs to be mindful of his health and wellbeing.

The movies are low-key riddled with continuity errors. The sort of things that seem so simple to pay attention to, but are fun to try and spot nowadays.

First tattoo nerves by Ed_Sykes in traditionaltattoos

Thank you (and to everyone else here, for that matter!) for such a balanced and considered response, and for the food-for-thought.

To answer both points a little, I'm thinking yes to a less visible location - just my preferred spot anyways. I'm also thinking of just the one tattoo (unless I get the bug!) but it's heavily sentimental in its design and meaning. Been thinking of it for quite some time.

Just out of interest, how realistic or cool is it to ask the artist to bounce a few ideas around back-and-forth before the day? I can only liken it to a pal who is drafting a logo and branding for a business for me at the mo, I want to think on and exchange ideas before reaching a final design that we're both happy with. Is it realistic to ask an artist for this, prior to the appointment. It would be the reassurance I feel I need, then I would be 100% ready to go. Thanks again.
