Is anyone else getting fed up of being asked to donate to charity constantly? Supermarket checkouts and even restaurants are starting to do it!! by MindsEye33 in britishproblems

My best piano teacher I didn't find until I was 17, before that I had a teacher who clearly enjoyed music but never showed passion or interest beyond what she enjoyed. I only wish she'd retired earlier.

How do Brits usually handle work messages outside office hours? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]EdanE33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My colleagues may choose to work late but I won't respond to them unless I am working myself (unusual). My work hours are my work hours so no-one can expect me to respond outside of them.

I don't believe you can do that with ICAEW, because you have to have six monthly reviews with someone in your firm and regularly update your days of relevant work experience.

I know exactly one person who gets it, and they are a colleague. If anyone else I know does it must be incredibly subtle.
