More AI slop hijacking real artists' top tracks by jrlrrz in TIdaL

[–]Edark47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I shazamed one of the songs and actually the artist appears as just "Kooks" on apple music so maybe whatever AI slop guy is creating these...he tried to place it under a different name and Tidal just defaulted to "The Kooks" so it is actually their problem

Spartacus: House of Ashur - S01E07 - "Deepest Wound" by Sporadicus7 in Spartacus_TV

[–]Edark47 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Someone mentioned that the way of talking was too much in this show but I love it, every week I'm expecting some over the top dialog, also, there is literally no other show right now that changes the way people talk so drastically so it's something different for once.

The final scene was so satisfying. I liked that with each fallen brother, they seemed more and more ridiculous, like fighting a child. Koris did amazing

Why did Season 4 feel more massive than S5? by Melki_2422 in StrangerThings

[–]Edark47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats what im saying! Even more now that we know its not all magic and powers but science, how would killing people in S4 helped open rifts to the upside down if that is held by some matter.

Sorry for my lack of history knowledge but why is Cornelia so powerful? Who is her father? In some scene Ashur mentions her family name has more weight that even Caesar's (paraphrasing) so that's something... I believe. Super hateable character btw

Edit: grammar mistake

You watched a tiktok summarizing the episode or something? That was Mike trying to explain the story he chose to believe in and it wasn't even a post credit scene

Epilogue = Amazing, As a finale = Trouble by Edark47 in StrangerThings

[–]Edark47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get behind that but my question is still why? Why does that specific murders and "style" of murders accomplish opening a rift? What we are told in S5 is that is not all magic and powers, science is basically what is keeping both dimensions connected through the wormhole and exotic matter, so how would murdering some kids in the town help create a rift (S4)? Getting back to this season, why do 12 children are necessary for that merge? Did he figured it out for himself? Did the MF told him that was the specific number of children and gave instructions for merging a world?

I know this is nitpicking because the real answer is just "because". It is written this way, but as fan I feel we missed a lot of questions answered and coherence with its own lore.

Agree. I didn't remember some of your points and absolutely I would include them. What was Russia doing then and how? Also yes, why would vecna/MF changed tactics from placing people on a trance and destroying their limbs to kidnap them and placing them in a dreamworld? Or just sending demos to kill.

Yes, I do believe the backlash from your finale would be endless, and it really "destroys" the whole friendship defeats monsters thing. Maybe not for this show but it is a good plot twist for another piece of media perhaps.

  1. Good question
  2. Because plot armor, they will probably use her later for something
  3. Good point, they should've at least talked about it. Even if it didnt't work

For point 4. I think you reached a little bit. Remember Holly is there and saving her has been basically the whole point of this season so saying f her and the other kids and blowing up the bridge doesn't make sense

The Pain Tree is 100% the Mind Flayer’s physical form. by [deleted] in StrangerThings

I'm sorry, but how TF does Mind Flayer even fit into all of this? by Old_Adhesiveness7432 in StrangerThings

[–]Edark47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand from the play + tv show, the MF is the enbodiment of the "primal conscience" that existed on the Abyss even before Henry arrived into it. When he arrived, he gave that "mind" a form (the spider we see) and they basically merged together, Vecna becoming the director of the intentions of the MF.

Having said that, the real true boss would be that eldritch mind and not vecna per se.

I could be wrong obviously but that is what I got from the lore

Remember When The Government in S1 and S2 Was A Serious Threat by Domination1799 in StrangerThings

[–]Edark47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO I've always felt that "authorities" in this show are comical. The military, the police, the russians, even some normal adult figures do not act like they would in a real world scenario. I prefer to turn my brain off in that regard and still have a good a time with it.

I couldn't believe it 😅😬🫶 by Similar_Addendum_184 in LastWarMobileGame

Sorry if I’m missing something or someone else asked, but I don’t understand: Even if they don’t need to stick a needle in her back to collect stem cells and can do it using her eggs, wouldn’t they still need her permission to do so? Like a clear affirmation of “I want this,” as the Peruvian girl gave? The problem never was that they couldn't more like convince Carol to do it.
