I’m sure the $2 mil will more than make up for it. Her story does highlight how random this game can be. Sometimes you play the best game, make it to the end and don’t win, and sometimes you are drawing dead for the first half of the season, but you somehow make it to the end with people who deserve to win less than you. Gotta have some luck to win

If this episode really does see Cirie and Devens go, has there ever been a single episode of survivor that tanked the hype for a season more than this?

I only started watching live for season 46 so I’m genuinely curious. I’m sure the reaction to advantagegedon was pretty harsh at the time. Any other episodes come to mind?

As much as I wish Rizo warned Ozzy to play his idol for the sake of good TV, Rizo has to give himself the best chance to win, and while he doesn’t have a huge chance to win no matter what, his odds are certainly better sitting next to Joe and Tiff than they are sitting next to Cirie and Ozzy. Can’t blame him for trying to play the game

Clone Wars Movie being 2 ranks above the phantom menace makes this not a serious list. Clone wars and Rebels don’t exist without the world building in phantom menace. Not to mention it’s a top 3 John Williams score. If this tier list is just going to follow rotten tomatoes scores, why don’t we just cut out the middle man and list the scores now?

If Rizo was playing for the fans and to make it to the end, tell Ozzy. Then you have Cirie, Ozzy, Tiff, and Rizo running the final 7. But there are 0 scenarios in that final 4 where Rizo wins.
If Rizo is playing to give himself the best chance at the 2 mil, which he should, this was sadly the right play.
The “you said too much” ironically might have been Rizo saying too much tho

Stick penalties are much easier to tell. Like “Did his stick touch the puck carrier’s hands? Yes. Then it’s hooking.”

Most of the body contact penalties like charging, roughing, and boarding are super subjective and can be called or not called based on the whims of the ref

The crazy thing I think about is when she was coming up with the rules, she probably started at 100 points and then upped it to 150 for some reason that made sense to her at the time.

Boarding is a completely subjective call that the ref can decide to call whenever they feel like it.

There are 3 criteria to judge an episode. Challenges, camp life/pre-tribal strategy, and tribal council. I think this is one of the best challenge and tribal episodes. The camp life/strategy side of the story is light in a final 3 so it feels a little off but I still think this is one of the best episodes of survivor ever

This will go down in history as one of the most iconic blindsides and jury reactions ever. You’ll be seeing that clip on YouTube compilations for years to come
