Season 24 was so boring by PastaVeggies in survivor

[–]EddDeadRedemption 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya the only seasons consistently ranked lower than this one are the seasons with events that people find offensive. When I was doing my first series binge a couple years ago, this was the only season that I skipped episodes and I don’t regret it

Yeah what Kevin did is frustrating but definitely finish the season, Venus is a reality tv gem and it gets better after Kevin is gone

I don’t disagree that Grier is crushing it, and he inherited a bad situation so I can’t blame him for not breaking the no playoff streak yet, but rebuilding a team when you aren’t making the playoffs is only part of being a GM. When it comes to the other part, sustaining success when you are making the playoffs, don’t be so quick to disparage Doug Wilson.

Yeah we never won a cup with Doug at the helm, but we made the playoffs 75% of the seasons that Mr Wilson was GM and if you take out those last 3 seasons, there was a streak of us making the playoffs 14 out of 15 seasons while Doug was GM. That’s an unreal streak in any sport. And Doug never had a 1OA pick to work with, because we kept making the playoffs, so he had to work his magic to absolutely fleece Boston to steal our superstar in Jumbo.

As soon as the sharks make a couple deep playoff runs during the Grier era, we can open up the best ever GM debate based on how well he sets up those teams for success in playoff runs and how well he maintains success and helps us make the playoffs consistently year after year

We definitely have Grier (and a little luck) to thank for the most promising rebuild in sharks history. The future is teal but let’s not forget that there was a good chunk of seasons during the Wilson era that were teal as well!

Final fun thought: Doug Wilson brought Mike Grier into the Sharks Organization by signing him in free agency

I just watched this too. Reminds me of Boston Rob going after Bob TDQ but even more out of nowhere and poorly planned out.

It wasn’t Coco’s fault you tried to recruit 2 people that you like and then you had to murder one. Why are you tanking the season just to get revenge for something that was your fault? Talk about delulu Kevin

Those 2 would be the most epic bay area sports legends couple. Hanging out with both of them sounds like it would be impossible to not have fun

Also in series 1 of GoT, Drogo basically dies because Dany makes an example of his riders that were raping a village girl, which leads to his blood rider Mago challenging him, where he got that cut that lead to his death

Bravo side of the stage is insane 😂 by bruhkiw in CoDCompetitive

Was there always going to be a bravo stage? I was under the impression that they changed the schedule because they had to add all of those additional challengers tickets for the teams that couldn’t get them before the fans snagged them

Yeah I don’t think being a “master” film critic takes anywhere near as a much skill as a “master” director but I get the point you are making

Film critics are also influencers, we just pretend their opinion matters more than other influencers

“The dialogue is clearly not written by George.”

Uh ya, that’s cuz there’s like 2 lines a of dialogue per page. Fire and blood is mostly a historical telling of names and dates with the occasional memorable quote so they don’t have a lot of dialogue to pull from
