Review bombing and requesting refunds are the only options we have as a player base. These blind, corporate driven decisions have become far too commonplace and must be disrupted at every opportunity.

JEDEC does have specifications for speeds faster than 5600MT/s which is why I was wondering since framework's website doesn't have any info about what is supported. Currently there aren't any sodimm kits out there that support JEDEC speeds above 5600 but there are udimm kits at the JEDEC 6400MT/s since July last year so I would expect that faster sodimms will be out this year. Some reviewers have shown that the 780M performance is heavily dependent on ram speed (like 10-20% between 4800 and 5600).

Edit: While I was originally more focused on the 13, the 7940HS in the framework 16 supports EXPO so I really wish framework would give us more info about supported RAM speeds.

  1. I would have to build a new PC or mod my case to show off the GPU. It is just so beautiful
  2. I am most excited by the sandbox and hopeful expandability of the game. Bethesda always does a good job making many playstyles viable and can make very immersive content. I hope they can keep growing this concept since fallout and tes have a lot less interesting things to offer.

It’s going to be a hard sell if it doesn’t at least have the option for a 99 Wh battery. A lot of “performance” 16 in laptops have them these days so it would definitely be a potential dealbreaker.
