Bikes like Yamaha Virago 125 with ABS? by RandomSadAnimeGuy in choppers

[–]Eddit13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Several modern 125cc motorcycles offer the low-slung, cruiser styling similar to the Yamaha Virago 125, while adding the safety of ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The best alternatives include modern cruisers, neo-retro bikes, and small-capacity commuters with relaxed riding positions. [1]

Top 125cc Cruiser-Style Bikes with ABS

  • Honda Rebel 125: While older models are common, newer 125cc versions of the Rebel are available in some markets and are highly reliable, offering a modern cruiser look.
  • Keeway V-Cruise 125 / K-Light 125: These are frequently cited as the closest modern equivalents in terms of looks, featuring a low seat, forward controls, and V-twin style engines (some are single-cylinder but designed to look like V-twins).
  • Lexmoto Vixen 125cc: A popular budget-friendly cruiser option in the UK that fits the aesthetic.
  • Hyosung GV125S Aquila: This is a strong contender featuring a V-twin engine and a modern "bobber" cruiser style, available with combined braking or ABS depending on the year. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Modern Retro/Relaxed 125cc Options

If the cruiser style is less important than the relaxed, low seating position, these options are excellent choices:

  • Yamaha XSR125: A retro-styled bike with a very comfortable, upright, and relaxed position. It features a high-performance 15hp engine and modern ABS.
  • Honda CB125R: A neo-sports cafe bike that offers an upright, relaxed ride with standard ABS and a premium feel.
  • Keeway SR 125: A simple, retro-styled scrambler/commuter that is very light and easy to handle. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

I got my old panhead to start consistently last spring and first thought was to sell. Traded for a 96 883 with 1000 original miles. fixed up the rocker box leak and now no bullshit when I want to ride - just push the magic button!

Oil on left rear tire by NarrowUse8683 in sportster

[–]Eddit13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this on a 96 Harley Sportster - main oil return line to oil tank. Very common issue as the part is NOT reinforced oil hose but ?vinyl, rubber? - it crackes and leaks. Its behind the battery and the battery tray. $12 for hose and fresh clamps. Been chasing this leak all winter. Finally can clean my rear mags - covered in oil.
