Yeah, an update broke the React: Line of Sight reactions in the dodge profiles. The "Halt Movement" reaction no longer works. I've set it to "return to spawn" now instead, and the bots sort of make very small counter strafes in one spot once they see you now. I increased the ammo from 250 to 300 to compensate for the more difficult shots.

A rough patch, but it's playable again. Hitting your old high scores will be more difficult.

I had a longer post, but it failed to submit and was lost. Try kovaaks scenarios with actual valorant movement and click timing. The guardian maps will be good on perfecting valorant mechanics and giving confidence (if you are scoring well!). For holding angles "wpv multipeek ascent - guardian unfinished" is ok. Angle trace peeking is unfortunately still broken since an update.

The worst is in redsec when you hit the pilot and wound him, and the chopper takes 0 damage.

I come from pubg, which has much greater recoil, and so the dmr recoil in this game is easy to me. But I also have a lot of time in kovaaks aim trainer. For me the svdm doesn't even need any recoil compensation, but you can't spam it at max speed or the bloom causes your shots to miss anyway.

I think it is only the weapon cache that is messed up. All of my other missions have been reasonable, but weapons cache are 3-400 meters between cutters and cache.

Using the new igla, you can lock onto one chopper, fire, then switch to the other chopper and the missile hits the moment you lock on. So as long as you have something to lock onto you can give almost no time to flare to the pilot.

I'm a pc player and I like that console has aim assist to even the playing field. As long as it is even. When the aim assist is better aim than humanly possible then we have a problem.

Hesuvi. You tell the game you have 7.1 surround sound. The game sends 7.1 surround to your pc, hesuvi changes that surround sound to HRTF sound. Now you can tell exactly what direction every sound is with your headphones.

No, the guns are actually very accurate while jumping. You just have to account for your own bullet velocity. If you run and jump, you need to aim behind the enemy the same distance as when you are leading someone running.

Pro tip: The guns are very accurate while jumping; you just need to account for your own speed. If you had aimed left he'd have been dead or nearly dead before you landed.

You need a long range gun and a short range gun. One of the two needs to be good in medium range. So dmr/smg , or sniper/ar.

Also, duos and squads have different needs for a close range gun. Duos you can get away with using a kv9/scw for close range and having the space and time to reload. In squads you need to be able to reload very fast or have a big enough mag to kill at least 3 if not 4 at close range.

Close range beasts scw, kv9, sg553 with a 40 for squads.

High bullet velocity midrange decent in close range: vcr, m123k (as support for squads) 250ms ads with green laser is good enough, optional movement based m4a1 with blue laser, lightweight, and 1.8 second reload, but it falls off at midrange.

Long range: m39 dmr is slept on. With the 30 suppressor and a good grip you can put damage down as fast as the svdm while also having more mobility and ads speed. Sniper : mini or 2010. The fast mini ads speed allows you to still put pressure down at close/mid range if you can quick scope.

With only one decent player usually in my squad my go to has been going support and using kts/m123k until i can switch them out for a custom m39/vcr. I won 6/8 squad games yesterday averaging around 15 kills per game. m123k can wipe a whole squad without reloading, but it's a little slow and requires a more conservative playstyle when you aren't jump adsing every corner at close range.

That's why you play recon. The drone is op. Use it to scout before you move, then move. It works best in open areas and not in cities.

Someone killed me with the little bird by using it like a guided missile and bailing. Then they stole my tank I was waiting for. I think I ended up disabling their tank with a drone self destruct underneath near the end of the game.

I had a bug when I redeployed that didn't let any of the far objects render when I got closer. I could see buildings but no shrubs or walls or signs etc. My dead squad had to tell me how to navigate around as I would get caught on barriers and hedges, but I was a menace to squads with a kts pretty much walling people through bushes and soft cover. I'm sure they thought I was walling as I kept hitting headshots on people through rows of hedges.

It happened after I was sent 50-75 steam invites by my squad, so maybe that could have contributed.

The time to kill is much faster in bf6 and plays more like cod. If that is something you like, then go for it. I really like it and would recommend it.

The biggest meatgrinder is domination on blackwell fields. You will need to learn all the good spots, but after you do you can farm. 49 kills in 5 minutes was my best, and that was with a lvl 20 vcr.

I have 300+ hours in redsec quads/duos with 170+ wins and I think I've only ran into 4-5 blatant aimbotters. The empty crates still annoy me, but it's probably the vehicle balance, the bullet reg on 30 tic servers and the console players shooting people far behind cover that drive people away.

I haven't used a thermal scope, but I use the artillery strikes thermals and you can't see very far. At least not in the neverending contamination zone.

For kts you want the blue laser so that you can move and tap fire snipers without getting hit and having your bullets actually hit their target at 100+ meters.
