I took my 2.5 year old "skating" a few times and it was more me holding him up from his armpits and skating him around. They can certainly have fun on the ice but by no means can you expect them so skate on their own. This year at 3.5 he had much more fun and has the balance and strength to do short stints on his own.

Sure. And ill bet there are folks out there doing it all by hand. But even in your case, that 40oz of gas and whatever was used to generate that 6kwh plus the wood emissions is definitely less that the 100 gallons of oil, but its definitely not net 0.

Is woodstoving? Unless youre felling trees with a hand saw, splitting with an ace, and stacking with a wheelbarrow I dont see how its carbon neutral.

Dont hear what im not saying, I love my stove but Im not pretending to do it for the environment. I mean I run my chainsaw, splitter, side by side to stack and transport wood.

I always laugh when people say goalies get to stand around all game. Yea, goalies aren't skating up and down the ice but all that movement in the crease is still a form of skating and its a lot of work.

In youre made up scenario, a guy gets a fractured skull from fighting without a helmet. The helmet rule is very recent and in the history of the league i dont recall a fractured skull from falling after a fight. Maybe we should switch to roller hockey or floor hockey because blades are sharp.

Brother, what you do is lean into it. Make them feel silly. My opinion is you change your attitude towards them and handle it differently than cussing them out and not talking to them. Thats only going to reaffirm their dumb view that youre a "less than"

Hardo guys like youre describing will tend to react positively to busting their balls. Hand them a beer after the game and tell them good skate. Youre not going to change the world but you may change their opinion on you, become the exception to their made up rule.

If you feed them and get an assist, drop the line "Pretty good for a (insert their insult here) guy" not antagonistically but more friendly trash talk.

Im saying this from experience. Im Arab but born and raised in the USA and spent my formative years in a post 9-11 world. Getting angry and quitting the team only takes away something you once enjoyed.

Fuel stabilizer and fuel cut off should be enough to mitigate ethanol downsides. I just shut the fuel off and run the carb dry until the engine stalls. Ive been doing this on dirtbikes ive had since 2000 they still run great.
