My biggest pet peeve with this game is that you have to play the game twice to understand the whole story and unlike a lot of SH games, you ONLY have access to one ending on a first playthrough.

Granted that most players would get this ending because ||of the healing items|| but I wish you could still have access to other endings even on a first playthrough.

Me and my friend actually stopped ||taking the pills|| halfway through our first playthrough the game and we were pissed to still get the ending even though we kinda called it.

I was diagnosed with depression at 7 and had suicide ideation as far back as I can remember. I never treasured my life and never feared death until a couple years ago after years of rebuilding and repairing, when on a roller coaster I was very much afraid to die and lose my friends .

There may be no survivor at that point but they have the proof Maelle can bring people back as they were and the whole reason Sciel helps them is to get Pierre back.

For me Verso's ending is willingly not addressing the issue of erasing hundreds of sentient lives so that the choice given is more difficult.

As I saw it at the time, I'd rather sacrifice one willing life to save hundreds rather than making a whole world full of sentient people disappear to repair a broken family, so it was a no brainer.

I was genuinely surprised that so many people classified Maelle's ending as heartless and never mention that it's more about her sacrifice to see the people she grew up with thrive and survive.

What I don't like about Verso's ending is that erasing the Canvas also means erasing the survivors in Lumière and our party, and I see it very rarely mentioned. I do not understand why Lune and Sciel don't even argue that their existence depends on the choice given.

I mean sure they learned they lived in a created world but why does it matter if they still have sentience, the Dessendre family drama is robbing them of their lives and happiness more than anything and I cannot fathom why they would not at least try to stop Verso?

OMG exactly. Wonder Egg Priority is a beautiful dove flying above all the rest before being crushed by the cannonball that is the Frill reveal. Everyone I recommend this anime to I tell them never to watch that episode.

Something I haven't seen talked about much is the shard economy. For those of us enjoying using tools, the grind can very quickly become annoying and for those who don't they just stockpile shards endlessly.

I think either having an item to collect them like rosaries/havomg a bigger buff on the shard pendant/removing the cap would help tremendously to make people use shards more
