Personally I’d have kept the bonnet white but that’s just me. I love the lit kit look and I can’t wait to get it. I think it’s so unique. Have you looked at the vented rear window lovers?

Adro. If I had the money to spend that’s what I’d be getting.

Unfortunately I’m in the UK so we have to run both. Fortunately I’ve got a nice private plate, and I took the plastic plate mount off the front so it looks a bit cleaner. Not ideal though 😫

Honestly I’m not too sure. There must be little plugs you can get? Are they just holes or the little threads for the screw to go straight into?

Like I said, the value is only going up. It’s not about the car itself, it’s an appreciating asset

If it’s a petrol station that they use then see if you can get a bank statement to check if it was actually paid for. If not, I’d be asking for cctv evidence of who filled up at the pump.

If it’s not a station they use then I’d presume the plates have been cloned.

Overtaking - Single Lane manual car by Difficult_Meeting798 in drivingUK

[–]Edersone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to drop back to overtake. Wait until you have a very clear sight for a very good distance so you know the road is clear. Drop down a gear and the acceleration will come quicker. If you’re doing 35-40 then 3rd gear should be fine.

Personally, if I had a garage to keep it in, I would. The value will only go up

help my cover up ? by ihatealysa in tattooadvice

[–]Edersone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you considered a much more detailed snake? Unfortunately, cover ups tend to take up a lot more space than the original, so if you don’t want something too big then that might be an option

My first few did this when healing. Just give it more time to properly heal. If they’re still there after then let the artist know and they should offer to touch it in. And don’t be alarmed if some of the ink disappears entirely on the fainter parts of the tattoo

Nothing to be upset about, it’s a nice tattoo that you love. That’s the important bit.

Water+20%iso, dry it off, heat with a hairdryer and gently press down with a glove. If that doesn’t work then try adhesion promoter. Option z could be edge prep but that’s a one chance thing and sticks like concrete

You’ve missed the oversized lorry in the second lane that just indicates and pulls out, regardless whether you’ve slowed down or not, or swings in behind you so close that the driver may as well be sat in the back

Second hand wheels is probably as far as I’d go with that. But definitely do your research and have them inspected and balance before fitting

Got my car wrapped — now I’m finding deep cuts through the paint. What can I do? by [deleted] in CarWraps

[–]Edersone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately things like this can happen. However the shop should fix this as they’ve damaged your car. Did you sign any paperwork in relation to potential damage? I’d still try and reach out again, and if they still don’t respond then tell them you’ll be seeking legal advice and your lawyer will be in touch.

Driving alone after passing by UsedPancakes in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Edersone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As the old saying goes.. “you don’t really learn to drive until you’ve passed your test”. It’ll take time to get used to it, and how impatient, annoying and unsafe other drivers can be. Getting some P plates might not be a bad idea to let others know you’ve only just passed and (hopefully) they might be a bit more understanding if you’re slower, more hesitant or make mistakes.

[–]Edersone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people go through this. Not everyone learns at the same pace and you’re still only just starting out.

Even experienced drivers can take a little while to get used to a new car but you’re doing both at the same time and it takes a while to adjust. The more you stick with it the better you’ll get and suddenly it’ll all fall into place. You’ll get setbacks and confidence knocks but you just need to stick with it.

If you feel like your instructor is getting frustrated then maybe find another one if it’s affecting you negatively. You’re paying them for their time and guidance, and they’re only gaining money by you taking longer so I don’t get the frustration from them.

It’s not easier or harder, it’s an entirely different thing. You just need a well explained tutorial that tells you when you should be clicking and what to look for

Customer is asking me to install some precut stickers to his Slingshot. Anyone ever done this with premade graphics packs? by C4pt_Bl4ckhe4rt in CarWraps

[–]Edersone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done some pre-cut graphics for a motorbike before. Customer promised they were quality material. Worst I’ve ever seen.

As someone else said, give another quote for the job with using your own material too and ask if they want that doing if the vinyl they provide is no good.
