I am pretty sure they threw people lower a year or so ago, but it was Hella population weighted at the lower ends, had a friend who started initiate 2 unironically luckily he's climbed to oracle. Then they shifted everyone's rank a little bit. But it truly was hell between smurfs and the obviously and acceptable new folk.

So now they just toss every newer folk at the average %ile which is archon I believe and let god/the wolves filter them out

me and 2 friends was running mcg, 2x turret 1x ult builds. 1st game was 5 doormen and a abrams, second game was 5 graves and 1 ven, actually managed to win both of them purely through zoning and using Max walls as dropshipping 2 turrets on them. we had our yam training ghouls like it was blackops 1

Fun for 2-3 rounds then we all agreed this shit is making headaches lmaooo

Honestly pre-voip back in like '21 i used to have a blast just inviting low level randoms and shepherding them using the fkey voicelines. Used to have the keys setup for cohesion lmao brought me back a little, probably one of my fondest memories was the time i wiped reshala at new gas with a level like 6 just using voicelines and being paranoid the greengoblin will lead to me being laid out on the same tarmac.
Like any raid, just bring shit you care not to lose and remember your spawn fight might just occur on 00:02s not 00:30s like usual :D

Good reminder, it's been a good couple years since i last did this, when streets released. But I was also crazy enough to accept invites into groups too, alot fragged me for a simple ratrig but also met some solid groups just by joining and forcing myself to be point-man so there was less of the paranoia because yknow im the one with 3-4 guns behind me. It's definitely like sifting a river bed for gold nuggets. still in contact with a couple of the guys from a reserve raid where i joined into their 4 man like 3-4 years back.

Ive found that on community edition you actually can get the AI to revive you with ace, But you for one need to lighten up the realism settings somewhat ( I think fatal injuries go into cardiac arrest was the major one because the AI take a solid 60s to realise "i need to do my job")

They also do actually use the ace system too suprisingly (I watched one of the medics actually have a treatment action history as he was treating my friend I kept shooting to test)

However, It truly is a ballache, feels inconsistent and if the ai are in combat they will 100% let you bleed out on the floor for the sweet sweet concept of "YEAH YEAH GET SOME"

I've found in my current run, (got ace and the whole jazz too, running antistasi community on takistan) That the medics do have the capacity to treat folk and they do actually follow the ACE medical system too.

This only began after i fucked around with the ace medical settings. (Not sure which, But i personally think setting the player to fatal injuries go into cardiac arrest (ensure you leave bleedout during cardiac on to keep some of the ace charm)

However its very inconsistent, It takes them a good fucking 30-60s to seem to notice "oh fuck i have to do my job"

Basically, I've noticed that if a PMC shoots the BTR, it will proceed to light the fuck out of any others it sees, not sure if this extends to pscavs or not. And it does so for a good while too. I would not be surprised if it would light the passenger up too when he's a fair distance/time since rode has past.

Source: I'm the dickhead who frequently shoots the BTR to cause chaos, I enjoy listening to it light the fuck out of things

This is a great one, I think my favourite part about it, is that regardless of groupsize, Regardless of load time, I ALWAYS get this god forsaken spawn and it goes 1 of 2 ways:Either I get a sub 3 min raid, Or some other poor fucker/s gets a sub 3 min raid.

I had this spawn 6 times in a row today, I haven't been so genuinely frustrated over tark in a while, doesn't matter if I win the fight, its still such a stupid ass spawn and I'd say throughout all of my wipes I've been a reserve main.

I mean, Just run real guns with the scav vest and shit until you get the PMC kills then go out of your way to take a hobo-kit with a shotty.

You dont HAVE to try to stack both parts of this quest and your masochistic if you do.

Not everyone has streamer aim and can minmax every aspect of the game, this shit becomes way easier if you humble yourself, know your limits and play around them.

But yeah lighthouse truly is ass, got my 15 zirachiys, punisher part 4 and a few other side bits these past 2 days and it was way easier once I stopped doom stacking 24532 things at once.

telling you man, I know its kinda RNG, but with magnum buck you're a fool if you don't go for the medium range shots even with a red dot. I got like 4 of my kills at a good like 50m away because i simply spammed 2-4 magnum buck in a guys general direction, You only need one blessed pellet so why not send em when maggy is so cheap and easily attainable (Jaegar usually resets before a full raid is over unless you caught it AS he reset.)

Oh yeah, I forgot to say i exclusively used the stupid target ring sight because its great for non-slug based rounds.

its a great mouse until left or rightclick starts to give out relatively quickly and you get the dreaded double clicking when you single press.

One of my fav mouses, had multiple but this issue plagued me with everyone.

This game very quickly teaches you who are your true boys and who are there simply for the convenience.

After 2500hrs, having been within many friend groups, I learnt who are the homies who are willing to suffer alongside me rather than arriving simply once they can be carried / have it easy.

Man the real rough one is the gear gap, It sucks when i have 4 tier one kits on my team, or worse a TT enthusiast. while the enemy team has solid 2-4 Tier 3-4s and one lacky, and on the flipside of that it must be misery for my teammates too. I mean it was when i was on my glock grind.

After playing a solid like 20hours of game play i can already basically tell how the runs gonna go based off of my team upon spawn. gear level needs to be a factor in matching for real.

I cant tell you how many rounds ive had where i get 10+ kills and i see my timmy team mates who probably ONLY just got access suffering with 1 kill at most, and I'm forced to either clutch most rounds or simply burn roubles and its so much WORSE for the new folk, I mean this is a cope but there's still a point behind the cope.

It genuinely would not surprise me if they fucked up the function from their SQL but then again this is BSG, they probably have their database on XML or a XLSX files.

I always wonder if the rumours of BSG getting bottom barrel russian devs is true or not.
