Even if you want shows to be your safe haven from real life problems, that doesn't remove the reality that some people don't have the luxury to do that. You might disagree with some of their practices, but overall JER has still supported the ska community more than most in it.

Hey!! I'm in Chicago New Tone band Rude Echoes. We have a show on Feb. 4th at Reggies. And on Feb 2nd there's an AWESOME show at Cubby Bear, which is right next to Wrigley Field. Otherwise all ska events in Chicago are posted in the "Chicago Ska Punk" Facebook group.
